SGT. TRIES TO ESCALATE! GETS EDUCATED INSTEAD! LAW DEPARTMENT SCATTERS! 1ST AMENDEMENT AUDIT FAIL!

On September 7th 2021 I was conducting a 1st Amendment Audit at the City Hall in Syracuse, NY. My rights weren't violated even though the public servants tried several times. I refused to leave when they wanted me to, and I did my best to spread awareness and educate them on the 1st Amendment. I also tried speaking with someone at the law department but they disappeared...

Can you try a different font on your captions that appear on the photo for you tube which I would click on to watch...I find your videos to be rather educational, informative and inspiring, but sometimes, it would be nice to be able to see what the captions actually say...I'm sure you don't want to waste your time producing those captions only to have them unreadable by your potential audience...thanks in advance

The problem is he didn't have anybody there and for 30 minutes you spoke to somebody else about football. So when I tried to tell her that at least he could have went behind another counter and help all these customers out that were at least 25 or 30 waiting in line she said no he he he does do that I said well he didn't do it for 30 minutes sat there talking football. so the next time I go to the Post office I'm going audit.

I saw the lady behind the counter’s eyes flick between LIA and the cops before she said “I’ll get the attorney to come right out” but no attorney showed up. To me that seemed like she figured out the cops were harassing LIA, especially since he asked for the ‘public photography policy’, and knew that if she said there’s an attorney coming out the cops would disappear sharpish. She could have pulled up the policy herself, but she wanted to put the fear into the cops instead!

@Arnna Beaumont how about reading the Constitution of the united States. Learn what it actually has written into it. While you're at it, read the Virginia Debates about it, as well as, The Federalist Papers and Anti-federalist papers. I took an oath many years ago to "uphold and defend the Constitution." In so doing, I made sure to study it and know the safeguards and protections there in. You are either completely clueless to the contents of the U.S. Constitution or are a leftist who is completely clueless to it AND could not care less of your ignorance thereto. Furthermore, you are clueless to where I have been and what I have seen and done in my life. If you had been through my experiences, you would probably not here making the commentaries you are. Most likely you would be in a psych ward because your fragile psyche would have snapped years ago.

The more I watch these I'm realizing it's such a game and you play it perfectly! Played it smooth and smart with the first cop. Second cop pops up for extra intimidation. You immediately take back control giving his Sgt a command to command him to provide ID to you. Brilliant! The Sgt was literally repeating himself because he knew how stupid he was going to look. Business in the law office to ask if filming in public is legal was amazing! I've seen so many of these audit videos and you are the Jordan of audits. Couldn't be anymore perfect! You're tactics worked flawlessly in this video. Excellent. That was the sickest audit I've seen. No other words

You must remember that you are there bosses they work for you the public, so when they are misbehaving, it comes back to you and you, your state attorney & law enforcement, all work for you and your family the trouble is most people have forgotten that!!!. Hold all law enforcement accountable, a first step would be is to take away there immunity clause where they can be sued like everyone else,!!! As it stands now a cop doesn't care if he's wrong and the case goes to trial and the person wins a big settlement cop doesn't care, because the tax payer has to pay, but if the cops are going to be sued that is a different ball game, you will get rid of all the bad cops in a heartbeat!! Since the job of policing is dominated by politics as well as being mind numbingly boring, cops, particularly the commanders, are always scheming how to influence the holders of the purse strings to give them more budget. Collecting activity data that shows them as busy is a popular technique. They encourage the public to call 911 for every trivial thing and strive to respond to as many as possible. The result is that about 95% of their calls are fluff ones of no significance. Look at the annual summaries of crime in America from the FBI. Do a little bit of simple math and you find that on average, each cop in America does about 18 arrests annually. And arrests a violent criminal about every year and half. To make things worse, some studies show that about 95% of arrests are never prosecuted. In short, policing is mostly security guard type stuff and is very ineffective at solving crimes. So, the sergeant's lament about his high workload is disengenous. He is wasting his time at his choice.

You have to maintain composure, be ready with bail money, and then There’s no reason to fear them as you can sue after bailing out knowing you’re in the right and having video evidence. There’s really no reason for him to ever blow up, he has his bail money ready to go, someone or multiple people ready to bail him out ASAP, and so there’s nothing for him to outright fear by utilizing his rights and getting them violated. Only a court money win in the future.

I really applaud you for the way you do this job. I wouldn't have the patience for people who for whatever reason feel they need you to explain your business to them. I know you stay polite but I really wish just once you would give these idiots a "blah blah blah". I know this guy would be hearing my thoughts real quick. He's pretty disgusting with his need to control.

It has really only been fairly recently that Syracuse City Hall has been locked down so much. Most of my life living in Syracuse, City Hall was an open building and the public could walk in, without signing in, and look around in unrestricted areas, which included a lot of the building. They didn't care if you "wandered" around. I often did while growing up soaking in our history. It is so sad this has changed.

This is one of the best auditors in the world. Loads of taxpayers money wasted in public departments. The police at the end realised their bullying tactics were not going to work with this auditor so they started backtracking to reset the story of what had happened to put themselves in a better light. Imagine how bad the police officers would have been if you didn't have a camera!
