Echoing some other comments, this DOES sound like it's the right tune to accompany the first heroic fight of Balrog's life. Stepping into the ring to throw down with M. Bison to protect Ed, and show ol' Dictator why he's the champ and Bison's the chump, and then drive off into the sunset together in a truck full of fight money.

I thought of something more tragic. Bison takes over ed's body and balrog tries to beat bison out of his body. Trying to call for ed while fighting. Probably by calling him weak for letting bison taking over his body or something.

I'm not much of a Balrog fan, but his classic theme is just one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES in fighting game music. This remix is BADASS.

I've never been a boxer fan or even care much for him, but this is the BEST theme in the game right now. The blend of everything in the theme is perfect and fitting for this character. Makes me want to pick up Balrog as a main.

this sounds like the theme thats play when balrog pulls a face-turn and punches M.bison when hes close to conquering the world and finally realizes the full weight of what he's been helping with, and finally decides to use his fists for good

I think they're setting that up for a later game since Balrog ended up caring about Ed after he rescued him showing that even though he's greedy Balrog still has some humanity in him unlike Vega who murders innocent people because he thinks they're ugly and only saved the Dolls because he thought them beautiful, projecting his own narcissism onto them. And then there's Bison who's pure evil.

Balrog had amazing character development in Street Fighter 5, seeing his more caring side around Ed was so nice and proof that he's capable of empathy and I think this theme reflects that ❤

At this time, we are up through Dan's release in SFV. For me, Balrog's theme is in my top 10 favorites in the SFV cast. It's just such a jam to fight to.

I still hope Balrog turns on Bison like Sagat did. This master piece of musical work really sounds like a redemption theme, when he finally steps over the line to the side of the good guys.

I never liked SF5 but the day Balrog was announced I was so hyped only to be salty at how garbage the game felt. A shame because Rog is an amazing character in it and his theme goes hard. I haven't tried 6 yet and will wait a bit to see if he ever comes back as DLC. I'll await your return, my king.

Balrog in that game is AWESOME. Maybe 2 super attack. But... combine with combos... UNBEATABLE!

This is one of my fav theme in SF franchise, And I love these parts 1:31 1:49 Edit: I realized that this theme was mixed of three themes from his previous three. SF2, SF4 and SF Alpha 3. Also amazing.

This is the best Balrog theme so far. It sounds like a song I would imagine when he fights Ed to get Bison's Soul out of his body.

this redesign for Balrog was top notch, this look and theme made me go for him as a main pick, that and his new moves were really good too, bit of a one trick pony but mix-ups be mix-ups
