one thing i adore is when the difference between mechanisms/robots and organisms is portrayed well in animation when v1 tosses the coin, he remains completely static until he makes his next move miku, even when standing still, is never static and always has even the _slightest_ bit of movement somewhere it sounds like common sense but man do i love little details like that

​@@liz_violetslam storage. Basically if you ground slam and jump immediately you go higher, but if you wall jump and slam at the same time, the game will treat your time jumping as you falling, so when you touch the ground and jump you'll go flying

Fun fact: the coins are actual currency in the Ultrakill universe. You can give the Ferryman in 5-2 a coin to exit the level without fighting him. It's also a good strat in the escape Jakito challenge (I don't think that exists yet but it's a funny run to do to see how fast you can go and escape your game exploding)

V1: "You. Just. Have. Daddy. Issues. That's. Why. You're. upset." Gabriel: *"OH THAT'S IT! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH MACHINE! I DO NOT HAVE DADDY ISSUES!"* Doomguy, confused as the angel proceeds to run into the creature of steel's bait, then looks back to Jeanne. Jeanne: "V1 is a bit of a troll... although I am unsure whether or not they're Christian... on the account of the whole "I'm a robot!" Thing he's got going on." Doomguy, nods before returning to praying, all the while one could hear a hate filled angel trying to murderize a creature of steel.

HOLY CREAP THE ANIMATION IS SO SMOOTH

I like how V1 just crashes into the ground

I love how V1 does that for no reason at all and sticks it on his wing.

I feel like V1 is just so used to absolute violence and carnage that even a mundane action like acquiring a green onion could only end with a gun in someone’s face and a bang of some kind... hence letting itself crash into the roof of the building cause it isn’t used to aiming a gun and not hearing a bang shortly after

I love how when i first watched this i hadnt actually played ultrakill yet so i didnt know why v1 walljumped. Now i know it was a slam storage jump and it actually made me scream like an idiot

And he even modeled the revolver in coinshot mode instead of the standard railshot mode. Now that's dedication to the craft

I'd like to think that V1 didn't mean to point the gun at Miku's face, but he has to because that's the only way he can throw the coin.

I love how bouncy Miku is in this, the animation is simply beautiful.

I mean, she likes shopping so now she has money to go shopping again. Also, your attention to detail for all the really small subtle stuff is top notch as always.

That slam storage was SMOOTH. I could watch a 10 hour version of that

I don't know why he hasn't mentioned it on this channel, but he (along with many other YT animators) did work on a music video for the band Battle Tapes fairly recently--look up "In Too Deep."

Yeah, independent animators who dedicate their craft to their own liking, while standing on their own two feet, are first class in my opinion.

When The Cyber Grind started playing I lost it a little. Got me good. Animation again is stellar.

We now have a canonical value for marksman coins and therefore an in universe price for the ferry man's toll

I saw this on twitter (unfortunately without credits) and I thought "HOLY SHIT THIS ANIMATION IS SO GOOD AND SMOOTH" and now I see where it came from and I find more than obvious the level of quality this has

Seeing V1 appear with the Pump Shotgun but pulls out the pistol out of nowhere is kind of jarring, until you realise that during the 'Wh-what?' voice, there's the weapon swap sounds. The attention to detail... Bravo!

Something I don't see anyone talking about is how _fucking huge_ V1 is here. I don't know if he (it?) has a canon height, but Miku is 5'2" and seems to be slouched back a tiny bit, so we'll say she's standing at 5'0" in the coin toss scene. V1 is _crouching_ and still comes up to just beneath her chest. This means that if my math is right, V1 could easily be *seven to eight feet tall.*

I love how V1 appears out of nowhere steals onion points a gun at an innocent idol flips a coin and then breaks someone's roof

1st, we got a Fate x DOOM X Halo x Grinch crossover. then, a Xenoblade x Tekken one. Now, a Hatsune Miku X Ultrakill. You never cease to suprise me dude. Amazing job, as always

By far the coolest model for v1 yet

A nice detail I noticed is that when V1 aims at miku, what looks like the gun naturally swaying is actually them tracking Miku's head movements with perfect accuracy, pretty neat!

I wonder what Miku’s reaction to the coin being made from blood would be. For those unaware Hakita (one of the main ultrakill devs) confirmed it in steam discussion boards. I’m pretty sure it was also mentioned in the marksman terminal entry, but I forgor.

If the demons he kills have low iron in their blood will v1 go broke? And since v1 uses coins (moneh) to kill demons does that mean Ultrakill is p2w? ​@nobleradical2158

not the crossover i was expecting, but everything, from the inclusion of game mechanics to the smoothness and fluidity of the animation, was really great to see. nice job!

I like to think all the music in Ultrakill is just V1 listening to a radio, and everyone else can hear it
