This is a video tour of the Head End of Spanish Fork Community Network (SFCN) in Spanish Fork, Utah. It was given by John Bowcut the Big Kahoona at SFCN and a hell of a nice guy...THANKS John!!!!!! Sorry about the audio the room was extremely noisy, also for my big fat butt getting in the way....video was shot by Bill Wolverton....check out his video channel at / philovideo

This was my second tour of the facility, I agree they have a great setup!!!
The last time I was in that area, with the exception of Provo, most of the area was served by Insight CATV out of Sandy. Is SFCN then an over builder, or did they purchase plant from Insight? I liked what I saw in the HE, and kind of chuckled when I saw the Prisma I gear that was used for optical lasers and receivers, because like almost all of those series, the LCD displays were burnt out. He did mention that those were going to be replaced. Good tour, it covered most aspects of the HE.
