Does anyone know what mileage you get playing Modern as Jamie

probably quite a bit. It's true you lose out on some moves and overall damage, but 3 drinks in and you're already dealing more that 100%. Getting to 4 drinks you're hitting like any other fighter and have the same speed/pressure with attacks as you would with Classic controls. While people may argue Modern is easier, you still have to play the neutral with less buttons and less damage; people on classic already can't ToD in this game and their highest damaging combos is best case scenarios with all their resources.

I can't watch this 😂 no doubt he's good but it hurts to try and appreciate modern control players. All I can think of is how they're just waiting to press one button for specials 🤢 or spamming target combos 😭

I’ve played Street Fighter since vanilla 4. Modern controls aren’t that bad dude. Characters lose essentials and for someone, who is very seasoned, I like having a button that is there for me. I don’t have to stress to hit stuff anymore. I don’t have to sit and lab guile all day to just have stuff not connect.

imagine hating modern controls that much, especially when pro players even note it's not what wins someone a match. The only character I can think that benefits that hard from modern is zengief, even then if you just play normally like you're dealing with any other grappler you'll be fine :P
