It has never been hidden. MenaRD recognized Blankas potential since day 1, and showed how to use him too, innumerable times. People just covinced themselves a character can't be silly and powerful at the same time.
Why did Blanka hate, did I miss something?

The move is plus now **ONLY** if it hits crouch-block. Even then, only +1. On standing block it's anywhere between +0 to -2 depending on hit height.

Blame the game, not the player. If you want to win, you pick a strong character. Whether the character is unbalanced or not isn't the player's fault.
