Last month, Mathilde Froustey and Tiit Helimets from the San Francisco Ballet did a special Valentine's Day performance at Family House, and then invited audience members to learn to dance, too. So fun! Thank you, Mathilde and Tiit for sharing your talents with Family House! Footage by Paul Swensen

That floor makes me nervous 😬😬😬! They did so well, and his partnering is impeccable!
The dancing is absolutely stunning, but the best part is after when they are interacting with the public, especially the children.
This is utterly charming beginning to end. However, the enchanting little girl in the yellow skirt stole my heart. At that age I was the same way, fascinated by ballet--something that has never left me, these 70 years later.
Amazing to give children something like this.
Please please: anyone watching this in 2021: share this video and tell all dancers to bring something like this to the schools and offices. Let’s bring the Theatre to the people again and prepare the public for future performances. We NEED to feed on arts and good music to fight the pessimistic view of the world that’s spreading 💪🙏🌹💜

That was exquisite! And just watching the video alone was such fun, from start to finish!! I loved it!
These are two very musical dancers. I wish there were more documentation of them together.

Beautiful…and so dangerous on linoleum, unless they have laid dance flooring in that small space to avoid slipping. Great idea!

Sticking their shoe soles and points into cystalized tree sap roselin powder helps give friction grip contact on polished linoleum floors. Reduces slipping on the floor.

His lines are gorgeous! It's easy to follow the ballerina in this classic piece, but the male dancer really stands out as well. I do worry about them dancing on that awful concrete floor; things like that can really damage the body
