we have watched a number of videos about making inlay banding in an effort to repair banding on vintage boxes. THIS IS THE BEST WE HAVE SEEN. Your teaching ability and methodology is magnificent. THANK YOU!!!🤩

You sound like you're from the Garden State. I was raised in 08880 and did some time in Lyndhurst and Nutley. Nice to meet you.

@@VinceEspositoJr Hi Vince. Yes. NJ is my home. I live in a rural area but was born in Newark and grew up around that Nutley, Lyndhurst area. Really great bakery in Nutley that is called Esposito’s.

I've seen this video on the other channel years ago. SAPFMOrg.. Looked for more from you then but didn't find mind much.. Super glad to find your channel and equally happy you're posting videos and sharing. Do hope you do more on bandings and the inlays. I too try to make more own.. Nothing like yours but basics..(not even the same universe as yours ; - )) The most complex I'll take on is a diamond pattern, barber poll etc and I'm awe of your precision and results. As far as attempting this with 19th century tools, I don't think I'd be least bit interested in even attempting that.

Thank you, Greg. And thanks for subscribing. I’ve been posting some more basic stuff lately and have not gotten around to any Federal work for a couple of years. But stick around. I’m sure I will circle back to it eventually.

@@frankvucolo6249 love watching you work. pick up so much. for instance cutting the thin veneers on the table saw. I replicated that technique immediately. and the chisel mortiser on you other video. I have one but don't get much use from it. usually attempt with a router. but I'm liking the setup tips you're showing. need to revist as I said before super glad you're posting videos. its just a hobby for me but enjoy it.

hi frank this is incredible work and you've captured it all on video! i used to make my own bandings when i had a table saw but work with hand tools only due to space issues. very nice work.
