I have this in mine. While all the buttons are great, I really like the features that are integrated into the car. Such as slamming down on the accelerator when a chill mode which puts it into sports mode. The other features that I like are hold the front door handle and it will pop the frunk, as well as holding the rear handle to unlock the charging port for non Tesla chargers. I wish it had the ability to leverage custom scripts.

@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets I would think a number of things could be done. A + and - button might be one good setup, where you could cycle through something like [off, 1,2,3,4, auto] for the selections (or some similar order). You could also have the option to cycle with one button I suppose as well. My ideal setup with a 4 button kit would probably be Wiper +, Wiper -, Chill Mode on/off, and Glove Box Open.

I'd hate to put the button on the soft touch interior and then it tears it trying to get the button off. I think programming of the door handles isn't a good idea. They’re hardly typical car buttons: put them where you want; program to the functions you want or need; alter their function anytime you want; add more if you want. The buttons in Ford et al are permanent, and can’t be altered in any way (moved, reprogrammed, color changed).

Very cool.. I wonder how it effects the security of the car... I presume its bluetooth? If someone hacks it, can they just open your trunk remotely?? Seems risky... Thoughts?

@@teslaownersonline5805 That makes sense - but I assume is available 100% of the time ( even when the car is locked and the key not around? ). How is the encryption protected? Client Certs? Asymmetric key pairs? etc. Still seems risky to me to install a bluetooth AP that provides full access to your vehicle if abused.. Maybe its just me :D

@@fpvclub7256 I agree. There was a jeep that had Bluetooth functionality like this. Didnt take long for hackers to figure out how to start the car, change gears, and accelerate from outside the car. But it comes down to the economies of scale, who is going to be going to try to crack this thing for the maybe 1 in 10,000 Teslas that have this, let alone have to find one of those 1 in 10k Teslas to use it on and hope they actually have something valuable. At that point it makes no sense to go through all that effort when you could just break a window
