Men are victims of dv too and yes..that should not be forgotten. However, the majority of dv is perpetrated by men. That is a fact. Most of the violence perpetrated against men is by other men. Right now in this country more than 1 woman a week is being killed by an intimate partner or ex partner. This is a national crisis!

she is from Newcastle and is a known liar and has created an entire career off being a victim. She isn't even a victim of any form of domestic or sexual violence, she made up she got spiked at a local nightclub in Newcastle and just went nuts then on. She put on close to 50 kilograms of weight on in 2 years

How she conducted herself is unacceptable and unhelpful at all for victims. But personally insulting her isn’t necessarily. She should not be an advocate for this, she will only make things worse. You need high levels of emotional maturity and the ability to teach not demand

You don’t create change from marches, or rallies and especially not protests. Education and conversations need to be had so people who have never experienced abuse understand it better and do younger people can be taught what to look for. It’s such a complicated issue but we can’t allow people with no understanding and no way of correctly communicating access to make a mockery of such an important conversation

Second, claiming half a million turned up is just too embarrassing for words. Half a mill is the ACT's entire population, all in one place? Where did they sleep? Where did they park? Many more of them should be outed as well. I think the organizer may have suggested to Albanese that she was uncertain about the reception he might receive from the crowd. During her introduction, Albanese piped up in the background, "Do you want me to speak or not" followed by "I'm the Prime Minister". Then when handed the microphone accused the organizer of something untrue because he was slighted that she considered the opinion of those in attendance more important than He, Albanese, "The Prime Minister", the most important of all.

Very strange and needlessly combative responses. The questions about Albanese's' remarks were rather passive and were actually skillfully angled to allow her to (justifiably) highlight Albanese's dishonesty. She clearly didn't pick up what he was putting down, which is a shame- because now (despite any authenticity) she has depicted herself as an militant, indiscriminate dissident.

Indeed, this is a display of the gulf difference between a victim and a survivor and how equipping someone with the tropes and lingo of victimhood doesn't really equip them to be anything else but a victim. @@harryricochet8134 I've known heaps of male friends and family who have had to deal with a less than amicable breakup of their relationship. Even in one case getting so nasty the woman threaten to accuse him of sexually molesting the daughter unless she got virtually all their money (which she got). But in NO case did any of these breakups end in physical or even excessive mental force from the men. Why? Because they are all basically decent people. Always have been, and all way will be, even in the most demanding and stressful circumstances.

Albanese went to one of these rallies, Dutton and Littlemore did not attend any.

I've never hurt a woman physically nor has any male I know, In fact I've been hit multiple times from women. Why are they trying to make me feel guilty? It's not working.

Good on you. Please know that most of us DONT blame men and we hate this pile on of all men. Most of us are in nice healthy relationships with guys, and we don't agree with these unhinged alt left male hating narcissists. You've done nothing wrong and never should be ashamed or guilty.

Well, that backfired spectacularly. Maybe Sky luring an activist on to the show ostensibly to talk about her cause, then trying to use the opportunity to further Sky's political agenda wasn't very well thought through. I'm amazed Murdoch allowed them to post this video.

She’s awful. Throwing around the word trauma and belittling it. Real trauma sufferers deserve better. The ADVR would be wise to replace her quickly.

With all due respect to SW, she doesn't even know what VB is.... Tom, in NO WAY was seeking to, or did he, blame her for a crime or tragedy that happened to her. He sought to get clarification of her "set of events" from the Protest. What a mess this whole DV is. Govts that have done sweet FA over decades and the Penalties in my view, committing DV, being ineptly and disgracefully weak and open to re-offending 🤔

Wow! This is a masterful lesson in how to lose support for a worthy cause. This woman probably needs to learn exactly what the repeated buzzwords she relies on actually mean.

I guess the subtility of the narcissistic woman in the work place is lost on these women. Imagine being bullied because you don't accept the advances of a married woman.

Asking someone if there is evidence that supports an allegation they are making isn't "victim blaming", sweetheart. You can "believe women" uncritically all you want, but the rest of the world doesn't work that way.

They are politicians , they will be sitting around working out where the votes are .

I'm not a fan of Albo or anything about him or his cabinet, but unless vid/audio is presented etc...be fair or bugger off!

Channel 9 news aired the background footage tonight. He never ever said what she claimed. She lied. She turned to him and said "You've had 10 minutes to think it over... do you wanna speak or not? Do you have anything to say?" and he replied "Yes of course I do, I am the Prime Minister, I want to talk to the people." Absolutely NOTHING wrong wtih what he said. She's lied.

This is a community issue....We need to have men involved in all rallies, discussions etc. Not All men are abusers...let them be part of the solutions... unfortunately this young woman has been given a platform to incite rather than unite. Alcohol is a huge problem and needs restrictions. I am a victim and survivor.

Pity she does not show the same concern for children currently living in terror of their mothers' who are more likely to murder them than anyone. What hope do they now have when their mother's are automatically viewed as victims?

She's aggressive and did the same thing to Albanese. This movement needs someone less confrontational since the press she's generating is negative and has now become a political issue. The issue has been lost with her antics. It was ridiculous watching her ask the crowd if they should let Albanese speak. Can you imagine in any other country its leader being treated in such a way. And then to dismiss Albanese's input and influence was also ridiculous, as outlined by the interviewer. A complete lack of understanding in how to tackle this problem with government intervention. And now they're engaging in a campaign of reputational damage towards Albanese on a national scale And why? Because Albanese called out her behaviour at the rally. In the footage he appears completely baffled. So much for domestic violence.
