I personally think there are two sides of Chase. The one you see in front of the camera and the guy behind the scenes. Chase knew that bike was shit but still took the deal. Must of been a lot of money involved compared to the other brands. Hope it was worth it….. for someone who really wants to win… that’s not where I would have gone.

They could have waited 3 more rounds ffs, wouldn't have made a difference. But we're not a fly on the wall either.

Listened to the video and Sexton's throttle didn't go wide open until he was about to case. I really question the "rock broke my throttle" statement, it sounded like a panic rev from a mistake.

@monsieuroxyopia8262 the throttle body being stuck open isn’t the same thing as the throttle being stuck wide open - just because you don’t hear a panic rev until the landing doesn’t mean there weren’t throttle response issues on/before takeoff

@@troydavis4848 Because KTM has only won every race series there is in SX/ MX or off road,usually many times each.....................Honda has hardly any championships in the last 8 or 10 years. Honda is conservative and weak.

Once you find out what actually happened, I don’t know how you could logically hold this against Chase. He advocated for Zimmerman to stay, and KTM said no. KTM was his employer and they decided to terminate his employment. If you want to hold that against KTM, fair enough, but Chase can’t control who they decide to employ. That said, I agree with Steve that it’s total chicken shit that KTM is letting Chase take the heat for this when he had no say.

Question: so who's too blame for krock bike shock?.

Yeah exactly...the retaining clip that keeps the shock fluid and nitrogen pressure >inside >---> that's definitely sloppy wrenching or a *hurry up* by the suspension tech 🤨

The moment Sexton was Walked off track he screamed at ZIMMA Jase did blame his and thats it ,It was seen then no one will show clip

The way his mechanic responded to Chase after that crash, you know Chase has been bitching about that bike all season long.

Well he took a Japanese mechanic to an Austrian bike... was set up to fail from the beginning.

This was KTMs opportunity to wag the dog and make it look like the mechanic was the reason Chases bike glitched. You’ve heard this before in politics. Never let a good disaster go to waist. KTM never wanted him in the first place.

I have read a couple of reports that KTM let him go, not Chase. Not sure if that is true or not, but somebody needs to have an official statement.

As a former f 18 mec and pc/ final checker mistakes ment death or possible court Marshall u are the fall guy pre and post op inspections lots of stress but an awesome job would love to work on race team

Check the dates on Zimm getting let go and Chase going open throttle into that (not a double jump !) corner 🤔 If memory serves me right, Zimm was let go the week before 🗓️

ZIMM : Back to honda ready for the Coenen twins next season. Imagine that. HRC 2 brothers in the 450 and 2 brothers in the 250. Marketing masterpiece. Just my opinion.

Chase and the bike are both excellent. Chase needs to get rid of the tuck front button and fix the short circuit between his ears. Every bike is beyond awesome, even that 1965 Suzuki with the kick start.

Doesn't sound like things are going well at KTM with sexton. Wasn't expecting him to be 4th in supercross standings. I was thinking he would be second to Jett. To be fair, supercross is a bit of a crapshoot - so many variables and so much craziness. If Chase can't get second in outdoors, I will really start to wonder what's up with Chase. Everyone has always been sort of blaming the bikes for his inconsistency but is something else going on?

No one ever had a picture of the rock lol that broke the throttle. No one ever showed a crack in any part that I’ve seen floating around on social media. It’s too bad that guy probably got fired over it and Sexton probably feels like crap now because he made up something about his bike and things were probably stewing anyways and that probably didn’t help the issue. Hopefully that guy lands somewhere else successful and then that team beats Sexton’s team. And then, now that guy can’t talk about anything because of NDA’s and probably deep down that guy might be relieved to be gone from there

Are they saying his throttle stuck? There wasn't even a rev limiter was there? Chase probably just mis-judged the jump and got his old mechanic fired/roasted online.

Roger DeCoster IS The Man - but - when the Mattighoffen, Austria (Trunkenpolz) powers that be decided to consolidate KTM, Gss Gas, and Husqvarna all under one conglomerate roof in California, I believe that put too much on the race team's shoulders! There are only so many hours in a day and with MX, SX, SMX schedules being so tight and the semi/haulers having to drive sometimes clear across the country with *Ready To Race* bikes - it just might be too much 😮‍💨🙄

You say Chase had nothing to do with it, but, if he wanted him to stay KTM would have kept him.

Chase's mechanic, put the throttle body on too tight to the handle bars causing the throttle to stick and the crash? What are the odds.

It’s just business. ❤. Chase not going to win this year. When he looks good, he’s awesome. But there is a new kid in town……..

I said the steal.frame will not suit sextons riding style. Ive still not seen him look like himself. Looks like a completely different rider to me she should of stayed on a jap bike!!!

Dick move from KTM, theres footage of sexton up close and he doesnt pin the throttle until he was about to land. That throttle was not stuck

They need to fire Roger DeCoster. Dude has not sat on a bike in 40 years. He's out of touch. Bike is junk. Team is a mess.

I mean he was struggling at Honda and now at ktm and it clearly wasn’t the bike for the Honda and could potentially not be the bike either at ktm but instead the one person who does the work on his bike throughout these times of chase not doing the best.. I completely disagree that it makes chase look bad unless chase doesn’t start getting better results and so far the first race since the change a major improvement has happened so it’s only leading me to believe it’s been the mechanic

Just about anyone who has rode the honda knows its twitchy... i think it works with the lawrence brothers riding style though and lets be honest Jett could win on any of the bikes currently being made.

Chase didn't like Honda doesn't like ktm. Nothing I hate more than riders blaming the bike. Other guys get on any bike and make it work

@@CouchSlouch- look back to before he passed the mechanics, he rode the outside line nearest the mechanics, the board came out directly infront of his eyes, they didnt put the board down in time, made him misjudge how much throttle. Slow it down and you can see him hesitate how much throttle was needed because of the blocked vision

The bike is crap. Firing the mechanic attempt to save bike reputation and not hurt sales.

Chase had the same, "cant go fast enough" problems at Honda.....hes close, until Jett showed up and took over. Chase is strong hes fast, not fast enough..........his Honda had the front end tuck problem.

KTM tries too hard. Bunch of old guys that aren’t going along with the new times. Yes I know they bring on new stuff for other manufacturers to grab a hold and helps elevate the sport but it takes them a year or two for it to work properly or they go back to the old ways. Look at ClubMX young guys elevating the sport into what most of us want. At this point I support private teams more than I do factory teams

I like chase but he’s like Roczen always using the bike as an excuse for bad results. How come privateers are not having bike problems all the time with a fraction of the budget. The factory bikes are so unbelievably good the average rider can’t understand. but they are never perfect a good rider will adapt on any bike. Chase and Ken tinker with their bikes and settings so much chasing and chasing a problem that has more to do with themselves then the bike.

When pushing for the most performance possible things tend to break. Factories can afford to have bikes break. Privateers can’t. They often have to sacrifice bike performance for reliability to ensure they are actually able to race.

Chase definitely seems like the type of guy that would blow up on his mechanic and fire him. Probably a super high maintenance rider

Chases practice bike mechanic is his dad so I don’t know but I do think they pay for their own mechanics, but if ktm didn’t want him their anymore he can’t stay. Because I know damn well chase would have liked zoom to stay

@@Marleysdad808The manufacturer has the final say no matter what. They employ the mechanic, not the rider. The manufacturer is often going to listen to the wishes of their rider but they still have to be the ones to actually fire the mechanic.

Roczen shock was all larry brooks fault he said he could rebuild it ni problem i e be it his first try...KENS A GOOD SPORT FOR LETTING LARRY TRY TO DO A SHOCK REBUILD....hey whats these extra parts over here....Larrys the team manager he used to pressure an getting blamed. Dont ask any question just nod ok greengo...ken did a masterfull job of side stepping his zuki....ON CHASE SEXTON im guessing Chase is pretty easy going...an him an his KTM MECHANIC just werent bonding...dont forget Chase was at honda for a while best of the best...an probably had his pic...of mechanic...im sure honda found the best tech they could...ITS JUST CHEMISTRY an i m guessing CHASE AN his mechanic werent getting along Chase said hes grumpy when things dont go well an ruff on his supporting cast....it was probably the mechanic who left....big secrets...made the national enquirer know....only the shadow knows
