Thank you Jesus, the way I will share this video. I was attacked for this. There must be an agreement between the spouses when fasting, I said it. Not all fast include sex, and not all fast should be too long for spouses without agreement, Fasting is for us not God. I said it. 🙌🙌🙌

This has always been my opinion. Thank you P.K. I dont know why people generally feel food fast must imply no sex. Anyways I think some people who think that way, the mindset came from not having sex only when they are fasting during dating because of fear of God's thunder will not allow them🤣🤣🤣. They now still carried the fear into marriage

Good stuff. I work so I can only fast by eating one meal a day plus other responsibilities. Need the energy and all. My wife and I get intimate at least once a week, sometimes more but not without it past a week. I find its just more sustainable for all our needs.

What is self denial, what is self discipline, what is crucifying the flesh? This is the kind of message lots of people are looking for in this dispensation. God have mercy. This is using human knowledge to interpret the scripture. The true way of Christ is still the narrow way. God have mercy.

Sir, but fasting is denying oneself of things that gives one pleasure carnally to elevate the spirit. Sex (within marriage) is a carnal pleasure sir, it's not elevating the spirit. Couples can always reach a compromise of how to do it in order not to starve each other, but not during active fasting time. And sir, I agree with many other things you said. I pray the HolySpirit give us understanding in Jesus name.

Read the text. He quoted scripture but you're adamant about whatever notions you already have about sex. Again, read the text that was mentioned. Describing sex as carnal pleasure is as a result of giving in to the perverse definition that the world has placed on it. It is given by God and is meant to be enjoyed in marriage. Robbing your partner of it simply because you don't understand its place, is wrong.

The bible is also clear when it states that couples must get consent from each other before engaging in fasting. Sex is holy within the confines of marriage and its not unholy as some of us were raised to believe. Having sex between husband and wife is approved by God and stating otherwise simply means that we are equating sex within the confines of marriage with fornication

Really i never think is right to do sex when fasting my husband we always say before going into fasting i should tell he i was thinking one needs to be holy during fasting thanks 🙏 pastor K

@mummy d, Sex is holy within the confines of marriage and yes, marriage within the confines of marriage is God's approved standard hence we cannot claim that having sex while fasting as married folks is unholy. Saying that having sex during fasting is unholy simply means that we are equating sex within the confines of marriage to fornication

A situation when a woman in her late 30s looses her husband, she has children possibly already in their youths/ some even married. How is she expected to stay put without having sex(assuming she still has to live for extra 30years after husband's demise) when nature/biologically she will often feel horny and in need of sexual satisfaction. Not her fault that husband died...buh here is nature(biology ) calling & she has to deal with this for the next 30-40years What is your advise /recommendation regarding such case. Remember she has Children already (some even married with kids)

Widows and widowers can get married again. The covenant term is till death. Now death has indeed separated them then go through the process to marry again, according to God's will. Consider the children, yes. But lest you burn with passion, do marry. Ruth and Bathsheba were widows. Children may have not been involved but they did marry. I cannot over emphasize the "according to God's will'. And its in this PK's channel we have a testimony of a woman who married in her advanced age for the first time and the husband was a widower with a married daughter. The man was 71 if I remember correctly, from last December posts. NB: I am not PK.

Pls the matter is sex during fasting, not general sex life. She can remarry and have sex as the couple pleases. Be intentional to seek her partners consent during fasting periods. By the way, how does a woman in her late 30s have kids who are married 🤔

Sex is not unholy dear Uncle and we need to stop this religious attitude that is ruining many Christian marriages. Stating that having sex while fasting is unholy simply means that we are equating sex within the confines of marriage as fornication. Who gave us the right to call sex which is created by God as unholy because this is what we state each time we distort the scriptures
