I wind another bobbin and add it to the thread spool when using a twin needle. It resolves needing two spools of thread just for a hem 😊

For the double needle and the issue of needing a second spool of thread, you could fill up a second bobbin of your thread and use that as your second spool. For hemming you don’t really need much thread so this works well for me.

Hi Christine, how do you do the blind hem for stretch fabric? I’ve only ever used that method for woven fabrics (and I’m rusty).

I actually don't! But you definitely could if you were sewing with swim-wears, regularly I use the needle that o used in the video!😁💜
