I definitely enjoyed this video! I am currently struggling with a burn-out and find it hard to motivate myself to go sit at my sewing machine. This gives me an idea how I can make just some simple garments that are amazing. Thank you!

These are great pieces, I’m sure they’ll become staples in your wardrobe. Enjoy your stay on Vancouver Island! We live just outside of Sidney and we’re planning a little getaway too. We’re staying on the island- there are so many places to visit here. Next on my travel plans is Ucluelet 😊

How did you manage to get the second back piece out of the fabric for the bias cut dress?!!!

The first cutting layout I did wasn’t going to work but I was able to fit them all with the second layout I did! It’s shown when I start pinning and the dress front is placed first. I made sure to triple check before cutting haha

The best swim wear patterns I have found are from Styla patterns. Their directions are fantastic.
