Is the outside fabric (grey one) facing down or up when you begin?

Are you using white felt material under the zipper?

Can you tell me what the small piece of white fabric is? I haven't sewn in awhile, and the name is escaping me! Amazing video by the way. Very clear instructions and easy to follow!

Hey! So sorry I didnt even realize I didnt mention it in the video lol that was a piece of fusible interfacing, this isnt necessary but it does help your fabric have a more crisp edge! :)

Hiya , so if i am wanting to do a zip like that but in the middle piece of one bit of fabric with no pouch .do i still do everything the same ?

Do you have to use interfacing

Loved the instructions but I messed up. Got confused about the way the fabrics are laid down in the beginning. Right side Up for 1st bit of fabric THEN right side down... live and learn many thanks x

Same, thank you for the comment because I was WAY lost on that part lol.

Mine keeps on bunching up when I flip it open on the shorter sides of the rectangle. Any suggestions?

sometimes u cant avoid a little pucker but make sure you snip as close to the corner without hitting those stitches as you can.

So I only need to add interfacing to the lining, (pocket piece)?
