It would be helpful to know what kind of fabric you are using for the body and lining of the bag in future videos. But you demonstrate the technique very clearly, thank you!

Excellent - easiest pattern for unlined shopper I've seen on YT. Would love to see you make the same bag pattern using upholstery fabric for outside, with heavy interfacing and upholstery lining - to make it structured...

I'm new to sewing and read that making tote bags is a pretty simple beginner project. I've found that there are 2 main methods for sewing tote bags, this one here and the other one. The other method is the one you see in most videos. The method in this video though was faster, easier to follow, and produced better results. Thank you so much!

I love the way you did your video. Very easy to follow. I like that there isn't talking like, someone introducing themselves and saying what they're going to make, and what kind of fabric they can use, and yada yada yada. I usually fast forward through that part anyway. You're finished product is functional and the fabric is pretty

Oh 😮you nailed IT , EASY … YEAh ! That was ingenious. Great one to teach beginners and attain success right away . Always looking for simple to encourage newbies to give sewing a try. I could add a slip pocket for the next level up.

Hi. It's called a tailor's clapper. It helps draw out moisture from a steamed seam, and when set on a seam after pressing, it makes the seam lay very flat
