I absolutely love the puzzle pieces on the front! Finally someone has shown something very different instead of just the square pieces put together. Love it and I want to try this for a tote or purse.

I had the same thought. Could even take a step further and experiment with other shapes, like triangles, hexagons etc.

🤯I'm in awe of the dedication that went into creating this bag. Individually top stitching each puzzle piece!?! The way you used bias tape for the lining!?! I had to replay that 3 times as I couldn't believe the bag wasn't reversible as the lining was so perfectly finished. BTW, I've never used 🤯 emoji before, but your work deserves it

Ok. THIS, is my next project. Once I finish the quilt I’m about to bind. Then the denim tote with small leather patches. Then the next tote, for a dear friend. This….is the most original awesome project I have seen in many years. Thank you for sharing this project. And your talent ☺️😊.

AMAZING! I don't carry a backpack but that puzzle front would work well a tote bag, shoulder bag, pillow or placemats. Thanks for the tutorial and the inspiration.

We can draw a large puzzle on cardboard and use this template to make pieces of fabric! :-)

This would look good on a jeans jacket too. Great idea!

When one has devotion to any project... any time consuming piece are worth it. Its art. I love watching this clip. I am in search for a large piece of jigsaw puzzle piece and green color jeans. I think it would be an awesome idea to spend some time to create art and tote or backpack.

You can get everything at craft store to add backing to them then cut it out, to creat iron on patch with the jeans. They be great for any holes you get in your jeans

I could never cut out puzzle pieces BUT have old jeans in the tumbler pattern and so thanks for idea for top stitching! Jeans are too bulky to sew any other way.

That is way more stitching than I care to do! Too much lifting the presser foot, but if you enjoy doing it then enjoy! It is very cute and original and I hope the person you made it for really loves it! You worked really hard.

Using a sewing machine is usually faster that hand sewing, but with all the little changes in direction I feel like it would be easier to just satin stitch the front by hand. The finished bag looks really nice.
