This could be the year (next month) for it. I love the free wrap top from Peppermint. I can’t stop making it. It’s very flattering. I’ve also got a dress cut out - New Look 6650 - which I also love. I never have a problem making patterns numerous times as different fabrics make them all look so different. Lovely views from your sewing room. . Have a great week. .

Yes, I hung in until the end. I love listening to you on Friday/ Saturday morning. I don't really research the free patterns, mainly because I don't have access to run them off, I'm not techy at all. If I was id probably have patterns everywhere. I am going to make an Easter dress, possibly use s8084. We are south until March but I brought a sewing machine with me and some patterns and some fabric to make mockups then go home and use my good fabric. I'm getting antsy now for spring too, home is in Illinois. Happy Sewing

I stayed to the end and enjoyed every second of your chatting! No Easter dress for me. I love having a pretty bright cheerful Easter dress but then it never fails to be freezing cold and rainy on Easter so I can’t wear it. No sewing either. I tried to make time to sew and then life got crazier than it already has been. We brought my mother in law home to live with us yesterday and right now it’s all about her and making her comfortable and welcome in our home. Your yard is lovely. We are blessed to live in a forest.

A hidden Mickey is anything that is shaped like a Mickey Mouse head (round head with 2 round ears). Disney actually builds them into their decor so people can find them.

I love the way you look in dress #1. I think our bodies are beautiful and it’s okay to celebrate them. What do you think of viscose? It wears so well. I love the red and black and think the other fabrics on the table would be a nice contrast to it. Maybe you can use it to add a panel on each side? Yes! I have used Ellie & Mac's free PJ pattern for the bottoms to make summer pants from jersey & to make winter pants from fleece for my Mom. I've made her about 6 pair by now. Not for pajamas but for regular street clothes. They fit her perfectly & she loves them.

My house is on one acre in Bellingham, WA and before we bought the property we tried to walk the 500 feet to the back. Between all the undergrowth and downed trees, the evergreens that are so big two people can’t join hands around them, the maples and other trees, you just can’t get there from here. And it’s only 500 feet with the front 100 feet having been cleared and a house on it.
