@@patrickhanlon932 compared to other sports like basketball or football (soccer) , there is no money in skateboarding although it looks like a big industry and just a very few like nyjah can become rich. Sad sad story

He's not so much of a character he's like a serious foreign athlete who stays humble and out of spotlight. Plus he is a flatground monster but you never reach real status until you pull some memorable trick onl rad spots or something

kind of feel like its a little his own fault tho, not hating I'm a fan, but hes been without board and shoes sponsor for years and for sure hes gotten asked to ride for people, even said so in the interview but for some reason still no sponsors. Hes too good to be without sponsors, its weird. Seems like the nicest and coolest dude too. hope he lands on some good companys soon and get some more recognition!

One of the best to ever step on a board. Such a humble dude, him calling himself on the toe drag will never be forgotten, such a good guy.
It’s incredible to see Sewa’s climb to becoming a pro, and all the dues he paid to become the skater he is now. What a story
Loving the recent eps with skaters outside the US, the come up stories are the best.

It’s already an insane feat to be a professional skateboarder being an immigrant and coming to america and pursue your dream is even harder! Mad respect to my boy Sewa you deserve everything you have!
Rumor has it that Sewa’s still telling the story how he got on Blind.

Much respect for Sewa! Such a humble dude!
Met him skating in Barcelona a long time ago, he was killing it so hard already back then, and this was in like 08 I believe. His skating is so precise and perfected that you wouldn't immediately assume he's such a cool and funny dude.
Sewa seems like a really cool, chill person.
What an incredibly fucking humble human being. I don't think I've seen a more real person so far. Mad props, Sewa, love your skating, and will absolutely be picking up some of your griptape for my setup. Thanks again, 9Club!
Sewa is one of my favorite skaters of all time, so underrated but he's one of the best! He even replies to comments in his posts. Nice dude!
Kelly’s Kayo part is such a fun rewatch
There is no doubt Sewa is a humble, awesome & talented dude. Huge props for chasing your dreams and shout out all the homies that supported along the way 🔥
What a journey for this guy. He’s got a great head on his shoulders and its awesome to see him continuing on
THE BEST flat ground 'ive ever seen
Sewa on primitive would be sick
Sewa seems like he would fit in with primitive for sure!
Sewa is a natural at story telling. Such a great listen and such a great dude!!!
YESSSS SEWA!!!! Waiting for this one for a long time.Thx for this one guys. Nederland represent
These videos really humanize these pro skaters that you only see highlights of the only the best they are capable of, or the worst slams. I love these stories, they are inspiring. Sewa has always seems to be one of the most humble people, and his story explains what made him that way. I have even more respect for him now.
Lindsey Robertson had that gnarly ass heel flip Indy in dying to live and regardless of what anybody says about that trick. It was awesome
Sewa is one of the best, most honorable men I’ve ever had the privilege to be around. Love this dude.
Sewa is the goat of game of skate!!! 🔥🔥
I can't believe Chris fact checked Sewa on the collapse of the Soviet Union lmao 🤣
I have been waiting for this one!! Thank you Nine Club!!!
sewa is such a good dude. i'm really happy things worked out for him
The chico impression gets me every time 😂😂😂😂
It was about time ....Sewa is the best !
YES!!! 🙌🏼 looking forward to listening to this one on my drive!! This dude deserves the shine
Finally Sewa! Thanks for the episode
Awesome story Sewa, glad I tuned in to listen. Thanks Fellas.
Tons of respect to sewa. Great episode!
Sewa is literally one of the goats someone give him a board so I can buy it
1:15:24 I agree with Sewa on the editing and production of Blind videos. After "What If" I feel like the standard dropped dramatically and was incredibly damaging to the image of the company. I mean the skating was top notch, but the editing was absolutely dreadful. I remember having a premiere of the "The Blind Video" at my friend's house and we ended up turning off the video halfway through because we just couldn't stand the poor music choice and editing. "Damn" sort of went back to a better editing policy, but afterwards it seemed like Blind returned back to form, in my opinion part due to the company suffering from a crisis of identity which came across in its videos and team-riders.
Need to see a Cody Mc episode now to hear about going from Blind to Snake Farm
Been looking forward to this one, didn't disappoint!!!
Sewa has always been one of my favorites and inspiring on my skating🔥🫡
30 years olld and sewa is one of my favorits of all time. Top ten forsure.
Sewa if you are reading this you are for sure one of my favorite skaters of all time love everything you do enjoyed watching this!
The NPR voice during the Athletic Greens pause break is quality in the beginning.
It needs to be say how good the guys are in the atletic greens ad, same dialogue each episode but still hilarious
Sewa is one of my favorite skaters, so happy to see him on Nine Club! I couldn't help but notice the mouse that Chris has. I have the same one and it's the best-made wireless desktop mice I've ever had! Good taste in skating and equipment! Great show :)
Sewa is the nicest dude. Also Alveer is amazing grip. Go tell your local shop to carry it!
Bro this episode was hilarious 😂 Sewa was dodging the questions so hard
Always thought Sewa would fit well on Primitive or April... Oh, and "OFFENSIVE TOE-DRAG GETS 0NE DO-OVER"
Sewa's the best! Excited to watch this
awesome finally ive been wanting a sewa episode
Got bored and watched some "C-Rob" compilations and damn I forgot how good dude was. Balanced grinds and smooth manual shit! Totally unrelated to this video but vid got me hyped lol.
Love Sewa! Always have. Makes me happy he's also a great dude. Thanks Nine Club!

I work at that skechers warehouse and yes the building is crazy huge!!!
Such a good dude. Great interview!
really good episode!
Dammm his story is so badass! Great dude! Thanks 9 club
Sewa is a humble dude! Great episode!
I really enjoyed hearing everything about his amazing story to where he is today, maybe because I'm European myself and kinda felt it a little bit more. But my dudes, a literal fu*k you for getting impatient with his story where he's obviously proud about himself and where he didn't reply with short concise answers. Come on.....
Hell yea nice way to start a Monday morning. The nine club and a redbull
Best episode yet
Best episode yet! Best dude!
Not pretentious at all. This dude seems so real. Love that!

You guys are killin it on the adverts now, lovin it! Sewa is super talented, naturally gifted...dude is complaining about less than perfect tre flip lol
Chris is the worst interviewer ha. Sewa is so patient :\
No one can say he ain't a self made man! Marvelous story
Can we bring back the experience? Miss the community discussions!
S/O to Kelly inspiring sewa . Amazing.
He has the best nollie late flips!!
Sewa needs to just send boxes to the Midwest in the winter for research purposes. Me and the homies would be down.
Such a powerful skater love his style
🤣🤣🤣🤣 “thank you for watching my skating, your probably the only one who ever did that”
what a chill dude
Friendliest dude out there ✌️
He's dope as on the board and seems like a cool dude. Hope he gets on a legit board company.
So hyped to see sewa on this. And sorry nine club, but we all just skip the ads cause all we want to hear is the story of the skater.
Fire 1000% 🔥
Sewa please get an Alveer distributor for Europe! Bedankt
One of the best on and off the board
Great Guy from a Great country!
What a rad and humble dude. I hope you get everything you wish for. But can we please also take a moment to shout out Chris Chann and his family? What a great move to host Sewa when he didn't know where to go.
Chris when you going to interview the whole legion of doom?? 🧈
26:06 I wish product placement was always as entertaining 😊I really hope these guys at athletic greens pay you extra cause you’re really doing it the right way 👌🏻
Sewa is an absolute G!
Very intelligent, well spoken lad
You guys should absolutely start releasing videos for pros. You have the audience. I know that is a ton of work with music rights and figure out their share of pay, but right now there’s really only a couple companies that have the reach to be effective. Could really help boost the nine club as a brand too.
Super nice and smart guy. And great skater!
Yes!!! Finally 🎉🎉🎉
