Fat Quarter Shop sells a Folded Corner Ruler now that is really helpful for half sq triangles or snowballs and they have a video on it also. Also they sell a Creative Grids 9 inch seam guide tool which you can use as a guide for pieces that have a1/4 inch on each side of a center diagonal line you sew that is reasonably price. You would find that really helpful for many of your sewing projects.

That’s what I did. One block at a time. I also changed it up a little bit. My top row is the single flying geese unit. The next two rows are a single HST on either side of the geese. Then the next two rows are two HSTs on each side. My daughter and I both thought it looked more like a pine tree that way, less blocky.
