Great video! I’m headed there soon, I’m not necessarily fluid in Spanish, is English spoken a lot there? Will it be a barrier?
@eileensworld

Not necessarily fluid is better than nothing 😂. You will be fine! Just know the basic greetings and phrases for ordering at a restaurant and you will be fine.
Also there’s a great place to eat in Alhambra, it’s only a few dollars more, but nice and satisfying. I had a fresh made tortilla and a great cafe con leche

Hotel Alhambra, right on the premise. As you go through the final gate it’s on the left. It caters to tourists but they serve authentic Spanish cuisine. It’s only a few dollars more but we rushed to get there on time and didn’t eat, so we were happy to pay a couple of dollars more and it was good Spanish fare.

Hi I have a plan to visit Sevilla on October for 1 week ? Do you think is a lot to do in Seville for 1 week or better to get a train like you to visit around city for 1 day then go back to Seville again ? Thanks for your tip.

Hi Pavel, you won’t need an entire week to explore Seville, unless you like to have some rest days in between sight seeing. Day trips are easy to do as well. My other recommendation based on my trip there is that I would spend a night in Granada to explore the city. Since we only did a day trip, we had to get in an out very quickly, and only got to visit the Alhambra, but I know there’s so much more to see!
I think you quote some prices in dollars then some in Euros . Wondering if you meant euros for all . Thanks for clarifying 😊
Beautiful video! You've mentioned a few times how cheap Spain is, but that is because the salaries are quite low. An average salary would be 1000-1500 euros gross a month, in the south even less.

Hi..awesome informative video! Do you remember where the Ulala popsicle store was located? Was it close to mesquita or jewish town? Website shows stores in madrid and somewhere else, not in cordoba. Did you do any audio tours in any of the places? We are planning to do one in mosque cathedral in cordoba. Alhambra we just have the tickets as of now. We are going there in less than 2 weeks.

Thank you! I cannot remember if its closers to Jewish quarters or Mesquita 😅 Here is there IG if you want to contact them about their location: instagram.com/helados_ulala_andalucia/. I only did an audio tour in Cordoba but they are available in all major tourist cities. Have a great time!

Amazing video! I am going in May. What month were you there in? I am worried about the weather/what to pack and wear... coming from cold Canada haha Also, for anyone wanting to take tours you can use Guru guide and sign up for free walking tours, all of the ones I've been on in my travels to other countries have been amazing and you just tip whatever you feel is appropriate!

Hey Kirsten! Thank you for watching! I went in mid June. You should have better, nicer, and enjoyable weather in May 🙂 I totally agree with you on the free walking tours! I started to really use them when I was in South America last year and they are GREAT. So thank you for sharing that. Have a wonderful time in Seville

It is going to be hot. There is a terrible drought in Spain. Everybody is praying for rain but the chances are that it won't rain in May. You should wear light and comfortable summer clothes, sunglasses, caps and hats. Wear comfortable sandals with a thick sole, as the street pavements may be hot. In a normal May, the temperature ranges from 15°C at night (at the coldest hour) to close to 30°C during the day. It shouldn't go over 30, but one never knows. The nights are nice in Seville and people have dinner out late. Don't be afraid to change your eating hours. Right now, 33°C have been forecasted for Seville tomorrow (May 1st) on TV 🤷 Andalucía is a singularity in Europe. Placed between two continents and two seas, it has a long and peculiar history, where many civilizations have left their imprint. I hope you have a nice time!

@@LMPV4 thank you so much! this is so informative, I did hear of the heat wave and drought and I am hoping for rain for them too! I will take all this into consideration
Was it long and tiring for those two day trips? Not so sure if we can do it as a day trip or spend a night in Granada
@eileensworld
Жыл бұрын
I got COVID on that trip and that was probably the reason why I was tired 😅. Otherwise the train rides are not SUPER long and the stations are close to city center so it’s not too bad. If anything, it was more rushed than tiring
Can you share the name/number of the AirBnB in Seville? We are a family of 5 heading there in July. Thanks

As you go through the final gate, to get to Alhambra, it’s the first cafe on the right. It is hotel Alhambra with a cafe right on the property. It was very nice. They served a local specialty, Rabo de toro and other Spanish dishes, I had the Spanish tortilla and it was delicious, made fresh.
I was really disappointed with this video. Was hoping for recommendations to places with traditional food from Sevilla. Instead you mostly showed food from other places (Taco Bell, pizza, indian and korean food and a french bakery)

Just because I’m in Spain doesn’t mean I have to eat Spanish food the entire time I am there. It’s also an experience to try another country’s take on different cuisine.

@@eileensworld sorry Patricia's comment was so unnecessarily phrased that I had to comment - you do and eat whatever you want lmao, headass comment - this was a great video
