THAT WAS THE BEST VIDEO OF THE WHOLE WEEK!!!OMG you made me cry, literally this video portrayed him PERFECTLY. Severus is a misunderstood character especially from those who have not read the books. I am one of them and I have to admit that when I was a child I've never liked him but with the pass-by ages, I started realize his true purpose and his personality in the movies. I admire him cause he stood up against everything and he managed to protect the son of the woman's he loved. Severus Snape is just such an amazingly written character and I love him so much. I will always keep defending him to my friends who hate him (which I understand), but I will always love Snape’s character arc. RIP Alan Rickman and you are missed.

Dumbledor vowed him to protect harry and save him from any danger because he still loved lily. Snape endangered his life more than once with the dark lord to protect harry,Even before snape died he was careful for harry yo find out the truth. Let me just preface that growing up, i thought these movies were overrated. I’ve only fully seen maybe like 3 of them, and bits and pieces of the rest. And I always thought Snape was annoying… Fast forward 10 years later (i’m 22 now) and I’m sitting down to finally watch every single Harry Potter movie, and when I see Voldemort kill Snape, it did hurt… but when we get to see his memories… the waterworks started. So heart wrenching. Severus was written so beautifully, and everything about his character was put together perfectly. Snape is the hero of this story.

I THINK I DID NOT WATCH THIS UNTIL NOW, IDK WHY BUT WHAT A MISTAKE. i love snape soooo much! I want to know more about him too, there is not enough small details in books, and in movies less.. They made him look horrible, even when they showed he was the heroe of the story a lot of ppl disliked him, fuckers... Alan maxd an INCREDIBLE job with this character, and my heart still cry for his death. And lily/snape story, I SHIP THEM SO MUCH!!!!!!! This tribute is amazing dearie. I remember I made a video about snape years and years ago with losing my memory and well, probably it has a bad edition but a lot of feelings. Btw the voice in off, from where it is? So touched. And of course... ALWAYS.

I wish JKR gave us more of him and I'm so mad because in the movies they showed him even less - damn, Alan was a spectacular actor, he and Severus deserved more screentime. :( thank you so much, I'm so glad you like it ❤ the quote is from DareDevil (I admit I never watched it but I found this quote and it fit Severus so perfectly, I had to make this video!)

This video was amazing! Snape is a very complex and misunderstood character. I am 20 years old in college studying social work and I am just now really digging into some of the characters of the Harry Potter books. When I began watching them again as an adult I was immediately drawn to the character Snape! Out of all of the characters I was drawn to one of the very dark characters! I tend to be drawn to those characters! As I delve into him, I always thought of him as bad, rude, and a bully to others. But when I began to understand more of what his past was like and what he has endured I became a little bit more sympathetic and empathetic towards him. I don't excuse some of his many questionable behaviors and decisions he's made and done, but I SO ADMIRE his confidence, courage, and bravery! He was a courageous character and some of the qualities he possesses and as a student studying social work I do want to be courageous and confident in my career! Snape has now become my top favorite character of Harry Potter! I also connect with how introverted he is just like me! Haha!

This is a great video, thank you so much. He is my favourite character (aside from Neville, he is on the same level.). Ever since the first movie, the first time I watched it. I never understood why, but he intrigued me, for being something more than meets the eye. Great video, love it.

He is fr from a manipulator. Dumbledore was the biggest manipulator of all. He manipulated Snape, Harry and even Sirius!

Beautiful video, but snape was not a hero, Jo said it herself. He was a bully, unnecessarily cruel to students like Neville and he only protected harry out of selfish needs. He called Lilly a mud blood, constantly degraded Hermione simply for being right, and frequently practiced the dark arts or condoned their use against fellow students. During his time. He was brave to become the double agent but not a hero

You're soo wrong, and so was JK who recanted alot of her negative description of Snape. She said he was brave...look up the definition of hero.. it's bravery, courage and SACRIFICE! He was all those things. JK also said he and Harry Were BOTH good but flawed. She said the one who seemed to care the least was the who loved the most. He's a beautiful character for those who understand complexity. Snape is very much loved. He is the favorite of all HP characters in virtually every poll taken.
