The depth of his sadness, and the burden on his back that he had for decades, is something very difficult to capture in a video. Still, I tried to do the best I could. I hope you enjoy the tribute to the best character in the saga.

Best character in the story. Kudos to Harry for naming his son after Severus too. They say Snape was a coward. Well, he was the most selfless, unloved and misunderstood person and in order to survive he had to appear as a dark and distant wizard but all he craved was love.

At first, Snape was the character I loathed next to Voldemort, but at the end, I said, "He was one of the most brave people in all of Hogwarts. He was a legend. Long live Snape"
Severus Snape was the bravest man. What a wonderful love Snape has for Lily.
I hate it when people talk shit about snape,He went through so much pain,agony,trauma and bullying lily also left him and never returned back she did nothing to stop his bullying she didn't deserve snape,marauders were pathetic too snape lived and died like a hero, sacrificed his life for someone without expecting anything in return He was just a strict teacher and man of principle he deserved to live a happy life but everyone used him for their own benefits and he was always ready to protect harry,malfoy and his other students ,no one truly understood him and cared about his well-being and Alan's portrayal of snape was so perfect he made us love snape even more and snape actually got a face we can't imagine anyone else as snape!

What happens is that everything good and complex that Severus's character is, is overshadowed by how he treated his students who were not from his own house. All those who hate Severus stay there, when he made fun of his students and didn't make life easy for them, they don't see beyond that, they don't see all the sacrifices he made, they don't see all the lives he saved, they don't They see that he was the bravest character in the saga.

@@warithalghul4578 I think those who bash or disdain snape haven't met teachers who bully or humiliate their kids in real life that's why they say stupid things about him, our teachers were terrible,they used to beat kids badly and used to pass damaging comments to students Snape is nothing infront of them I wish all these haters would meet our teachers their perception about Snape is gonna change, whereas Snape's students were no less Golden trio was problematic even Minerva mentioned it Neville was bullied by harry as well He was problematic too and not very good with potions and used to create mess in the class People always forget that Snape was working against Voldemort and most of these people are James stans they overlook the stuff related to him and other Marauders,they don't feel bad for Snape and what happened to him bcoz of marauders they never appreciate his sacrifices I hate this a lot!

Completely. His time with Lily was so happy, that even decades later, she is able to create a Patronus with those memories.

Thank you for your edit! The voice, the sound, the music and also the video, they are all very beautiful and touching, tbh i cried a lil bit. I always keen on Snape since i learned the truths about how good he is. He is is a depth character, not a good person absolutely but end up not a bad guy too. His love is so great and also he changes a lot thanks to Lily - went from a man who followed Dark magic, be so selfish to the hero of wizard world. He accepted to hide all his good personality and sacrificed himself to save Harry Potter and the others. The scene where the Patronus deer in the woods leads Harry to the Gryffindor sword, the moment his voice trembles as he recites the 'Avada' spell, how he hugged Lily with hopelessness.. The pain was beyond words... The original books are wonderful and so is Alan Rickman. "After all this time?" "Always."
