The weekend of the 20th-21st April saw the Severn Valley Railway hosting their annual Spring Steam Gala. With locos including Lambton Tank No.29 visiting from North Yorkshire Moors Railway, 1369 visiting from South Devon Railway & 72 'Fenchurch' visiting from Bluebell Railway. 34027 'Taw Valley' was also re entered into traffic having replaced 6880 'Betton Grange' which was unable to visit the gala in time.
