When I heard the rain in the background I legit just said how many bees is in your backyard? And fortunately I didn’t even notice this was an hour.

We had a storm like a little heavier than this over the summer at 3 am! It was intensifying the longer it traveled over Lake Erie

I love cloud to ground lightning, it's the best for recording storm videos and It's entertaining! It's not fun to be outside when there's lightning like that tho.

Lucky, we didn't get much of anything this year then suddenly we have that 100 year flood people kept warning about.

I've actually bought a ton of stuff to protect my electronics just in case it came up here a long time ago I've been paying so much attention to it. I may actually need it for the hurricane behind it depending on what it does. And I dont watch them anymore, I know places to get so much better info about the weather, and when I want to watch stuff like that there is independent filmers (stormchasingvideo) that I watch.

Ah, so you use them, too? I go to many sources. I listen to The Weather Channel, because it helps me get a better idea of what's going on when I don't want to listen to an 8 hour storm chase. I've also got the Noah Weather Radio, and it's programmed only to go off in my county, so I don't have to keep hearing that alarm. There are a lot of great resources out there, and some are better than others. I would say go with what works best for you which is what I do. It's all good.

Intellicast is way better and gives actual good details. I dont listen to The Weather Channel anymore because they barely talk about weather anymore, just all these stupid shows they have on. Storm Stories was the last good thing they had on, and now that is gone. They wonder why so many companies have dropped them. When they do talk about the weather they dumb it down in a manner that makes it seem like they think we think like stupid 3 year olds. So I've given up on that company, and I'm sure some of that has to do with Comcast (xfinity), which is run by George Soros. The Weather Channel gets their info from Intellicast anyway, believe it or not.

I agree that they do repeat some of these shows, but they're live feed is very good. I'll need to check out intellicast. Thanks for the suggestion. I do like Tornado Alley, but only when they show actual footage. Do you have to pay to use Intellicast?

With me being an IT guy, you should never hold down your power button on your computer to shut it down, otherwise you'll be dealing with corrupt data overtime. Best to leave it alone for about 60 seconds when it's trying to shutdown. But anyways nice storm, we've had some early morning storms also, make me jump out of bed sometimes lol. Not because i'm excited, it's because it's like wow I wonder whats coming now.

Data was already going corrupt from the last hard drive I had so I didn't really care at the time. Ever since I got my inverter over the winter I have just been hooking it up to that, letting my UPS power my computer in between shifts. I ended up doing a fresh install about a year later because my video editor was not working correctly. Thanks for stopping by!

you know what sucks if our power goes out Durning a storm we have a sumppump in our basement and it has no battery backup and if the power goes out we have a flood and have to bail water out

All you have to do to fix that is buy some big deep cycle lead acid batteries and a good pure sine wave inverter that can handle the wattage, hook everything up, and you'll be good.

Recently none. Right across the rover from me is New Jersey and they seemed to have a few recently with the same storms.

I got some good video footage of a severe thunderstorm that rolled through michgan yesterday evening. I want to get the video on KZread but I don't know how to upload it i recorded it off a smartphone do I have to plug a flasdrive in my computer to upload it how do I upload it if someone can help me I would love it thanks

Best thing to do is to connect your phone directly to your computer, find the file, put it on your computer and upload from there. If it's something like an android or Apple KZread has an app you can get where you can upload it directly from your phone.

This video was too long. Halfway through it, I got hungry so I left it playing and went to the kitchen to fix my self a sandwich. But then I found out that I'm out of mayonnaise so I went to a store. There, I saw the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my whole life. But I'm really a shy person so I took up a three-year personality development course so I can introduce my self. She was very friendly and all, but unfortunately, she has a boyfriend. So I said, all good, I'm a mature person. I want the best for her and I harbor no illusion that I am the best person for her and she seems happy with her boyfriend, so I did not bother her anymore. Severe thunderstorm early morning 😂

Finally. At around 14:55, I think I hear the possibility of a thunderstorm. I used to make audio tapes about thunderstorms and such, and I did the same thing. I talked a lot. After cringing while listening to myself, I realized I didn't like the way I sounded, so I tried really hard to keep from speaking too much. Then: (Now you have to remember, I'm blind. So I never saw it coming!) BOOOOOOOOM! You guessed it. "!Da**!" "Holy ****!" Oh yeah. I said all sorts of things I dare not repeat. I don't want to make myself look too bad. I guess you could say I reacted like a teenager. And it's okay. I understand. Take it from me, though. You can still keep recording those thunderstorms, but could you please try to keep the chitchat to a minimum? Ta tah! Heather

I don’t mind a little thunderstorm but once they get severe that’s when I’m not to fond of them especially at night lol I have so many trees around my place and if the wind got to bad I’m sure it could bring them down but they provide so much shade in the summer time! Im from Georgia btw

Not fond of thunderstorms either. My biggest fear is lightning striking the house, everything else I don't mind. Nothing ever tends to happen to people holding the camera, so filming it helps for me.

Yeah that wouldn’t be to good if the house got struck by lighting ! I guess my biggest fear would probably be a tornado hitting at night . I honestly wouldn’t want a tornado to hit either way day or night just because I don’t want anyone hurt but I am very fascinated with tornadoes and would love to chase one eventually but I never wanna see anyone hurt ! Because global warming is not man made in the first place. We are still in an ice age believe it or not, and once all the ice caps are melted the ocean currents will stop and we will go into a cooling cycle. This is all normal and there is nothing we can do to stop it, contrary to what the globalist Al Gore is telling everyone.

Tom, you talk weigh too much. I've got to hand it to you, because you're very much a storm enthusiast, but I hope you've toned it down much more by now. I really would love to listen to more videos, but I hope you've realized by now how important it is to ensure you're quiet, because it's the storms that should do the talking. I know it's been over three years since you put out this video, so I really hope you've got some recent ones.

@@elevator1tom Aww. Too bad. We're in a terrible drought right now, and it's getting worse. I told my neighbors and church friends we were heading into one last February, and this is one time I just hate having to give bad news. Everyone was begging for the rains to stop, but they quickly forgot that our droughts are getting worse. The last time we had one, 3% of Georgia's landmass had become desert. We had some of the worst wild fires in history, and Lake Lanear had trees sprouting where water had been. I really hope this one doesn't last as long as the last one did, but it could go on for up to eight years! We had cities literally dry up, and water had to be trucked in to fill up their reservoir. I think this country is doomed, because the last Southwestern drought was worse than the drought that caused the dust bowl of 1934 according to the Weather Channel. And then, there were the Midwestern floods of this past March and April. We need to pray like never before, and we need to do all we can to find more water resources underground, if there are any. Lord have mercy.
