2:21 Minghao expressing “I want to listen today”, that alone says a lot about the dynamic of the group. It takes a lot for someone to hold a hand up and say that in plain language. I appreciate the group for appreciating each member. Advocating and making an effort to understand each other. With 13 people, naturally you are going to have a closer relationship with some vs others, but that effort to get to know everyone and respect each other takes time, patience, and work. It makes me teary-eyed. Knowing you have someone who will make sure you are heard is so important. I know it may feel trivial and basic, but in this day and age, being heard and LISTENED to makes you feel valued. “You are important and deserve to be heard” As a person who speaks more learning to step back or be observant, encouraging to more quieter members, etc. They have strong interpersonal relationship. There is a saying that “everyone shines, but finding that takes time”. Their collaboration and teamwork allows me to appreciate them individually and as a group.

i feel like he has social anxiety (?) as someone who has social anxiety, i do get nervous and shy when all the attention is towards me just like how jun was running out of the screen in one of the clips.

I do notice how tightly knit this group is. Seungkwan is such a good talk show host for SVT. He naturally gives the spotlight to quieter members.

As Vernon biased, i want to add since the video showed little of him (because it's about 5 members) that i always noticed that about the members and i am very grateful. At Caratland 2020, the help that the members give him and how much it is difficult for him to speak was very noticeable, and there was a Japanese fanmeeting where at one point when he had to speak, Dk told him something like "calm down and imagine that you are in the backstage room with us." In Gose he generally does not appear much and worse if it is TTT where they are more free (just like Jun and Wonwoo), in interviews he rarely begins to speak without anyone speaking to him and in the lives or broadcasts ot13 he is usually seen in the background talking to some other member or zoning out, he seems too comfortable with his members and that makes me very happy but he always seems too uncomfortable having to speak in front of cameras. Something i've been thinking about for a while is that Hoshi ALWAYS tries to include Wonwoo and Vernon in the conversations at concerts because they never talk on stage 🥺 I think a special mention should also be made to Dino, Dk and Seungkwan for always making sure that everyone participates equally in the group

As introverts, it is quite hard. We get too comfortable in the silence that people mistake it as being indeferent, rude, shy or many other things. We need our extroverts to balance us out. But also, we just need other people for support. ❤

i cant lie i literally starting sobbing half way through the video. to know that people care for eachother this much is so heartwarming and as jun biased i love how the other members make him speak up and give him screentime so i can see him more

As a person with personality like Jun and Wonwoo, I'm very thankful to each member helping the quiter members to also talk. We all deserve someone like them in real life. Someone who will bring everyone to listen to us or let us speak up our thoughts. I'm so happy to be part of this fandom. They're all softy with each other. This content makes me happy knowing that my man Jun is surrounded with kind members.

The more I get into this group the more I swear that Jun is my spirit animal

i love how sensitive the members are towards each other and i honestly think that this is a domino effect. it probably started from the rowdier members (seungkwan, dk, etc) or the older members in the group (95 liner). i feel like they modeled the way for the other members by making sure the quieter members have a chance to speak and take note of their screen time and eventually, the other members followed suit and do the same. it’s really not easy to divide the screen time evenly especially when there’s so many of them and honestly, they could have just ignore the fact that some of their members are not speaking up and leave all the screen time for themselves but they chose not to. i love how they are so sacrificial, sensitive and understanding towards their members. it’s really not easy and i hope that they will continue this in the future!

Being a jun biased When i earlier joined the group i was a little sad that jun wasn't shown much as he wouldnt speak much but when i started watching more videos i saw how svt always appreaciated him especially jeonghan seungkwan and mingyu, that made me so happyy.

As someone who struggles to speak among people , the way svt members look out for each other and everytime the quiter members speak they just stop and ask them to continue instead and like the way they always ask them to speak so they are not left out just made me feel so loved just by watching that i hope everyone who struggles to speak finds their svt And the way i was a crying mess by the time the video ended just makes me go like i wish i had someone who was really like this😭😭

To think that if any of them (quiet members) had debuted in almost any other group they wouldn't be as known or heard. Seventeen really is made of amazing and kind souls.

When I started stanning SVT I noticed Jun immediately and thought he was one of the handsomest members, but I thought he kind of lack presence. (That was before I watched GoSe or any fan made videos) The members kept mentioning how he was funny or mischievous off camera. Now, he's in my top 3, because of Seungkwan. It's known for all Huihui's that Seungkwan really adores Jun, and he made me adore him too. Now, I get almost all his jokes if he makes one and I am absolutely thrilled that he gets to appear and do promotions on his own on different varieties and youtube channels too. Like Hoshi said, everyone should know how funny Junnie is~ 💚💚💚 p.s. Great video!

It always makes me tear up seeing how close the members are with one another. They're so close with each other and especially for such a large group to feel so much like a family is heart warming. Seeing how each of the members care for each or how they do little things to make sure each member is heard or comfortable when doing broadcasts, just really makes them such a special group. Being a new carat and being able to see all of these clips is amazing and I've loved getting to know each of the members and this adds so much to what kind of group they are and why they are loved by so many people, including myself.

as someone who heavily relates to the quieter members, noticing these moments from seventeen is really comforting. They give me the courage to be more open and also rely more on my friends if I need just some small assistance. They make me feel like it really is possible to have a voice in this world. Like jun said, you have no choice but to force yourself even if its scary.

The love seventeen have within themselves can never be compared

honestly, i can relate to jun and the8. I try to speak and if i am interrupted, i feel like nobody is interested and the i just stop talking. My friends, i feel like even if I am not there, it won’t affect them in any ways. Thus, if i see someone like jun and the8 around me, I pay special attention to them and make sure they are heard (at least by me). I always try to include them in conversations.

I really love that they do this. Some people including myself are just quieter. I love that the members are all acknowledged and they are asked if they would like to share something. They are not forced and they encouraged. The members want all the quieter members to feel comfortable talking etc. They all do a great job doing just that. Thank you!

What I notice with them is their geniuine behaviour on camera, compared to other groups. They don't try to shove into your throat that they're like family and that everyone is everyone's best friend. Their relationships feel real. The members aren't all close to each other (which is normal), you might rarely see some of them interact with each other, but from stuff liek this, from their lottle glances of worry/care, you know that they respect and care for each other. Something else I've noticed (I just got into the fandom) is that although there are 13 members in this group, they don't do much "shipping" fanservice. Most 3th/4th gen kpop groups heavily rely on that type of fan service, because the company is aware that they're being shipped, so they not only push two members together to give them more screentime with each other and feed the fans, but also make sure that they're together during photoshoots, MVs etc... Seventeen doesn't really have that. They are full of 13 handsome men, so technically they would have the perfect material to feed some fans about their delusions, but they don't and pledis doesn't seem to push them to do it neither. Their dynamics are very interesting

As individuals who have shared years together, either as friends or colleagues, there's a fundamental sense of respect in allowing each other to speak. I have seen even those naturally inclined to converse, withdraw when consistently shut down. Taehyung's situation in BTS is a poignant example. Some justify this behaviour as friendly banter but watching videos like this only deepens my sense of sadness. On a brighter note, the synergy among all SEVENTEEN members is so refreshing and respectful. You know, it's often the little things that matter the most in maintaining a healthy dynamic within a group. And this video made me sob, it's incredible how starkly different the dynamics are between the two groups I know.

Thank you for this edit! I am a person who watch kpop for oeverall more than 20 years (in around 2014 I almost completely left), Seventeen brought me back. I had a lot of experiences that I like a group, then slowly faded out (I never call myself a fan of the groups) I observed Seventeen for quite a long time, it's hard to explain, but it's just all the small things like in this video, that make me believe their friendship/brotherhood, it's at least more real than how some groups were packaged as their company decided. Eventually I became carat.

I wish I had friends/brothers like them. I am someone who doesnt speak/express much.. I've become like that in the last three years. I feel burdened thinking that people talk/talked to me only when they needed my help. No one really seems to care that I have gone silent most of the time, unless they ask me for help and I explain. To see such beautiful relationships that still exist, where they are even better than biological brothers and love and respect each other, their vulnerablilities and their strengths, really warms my heart and makes me yearn for someone like these boys to be my brothers... Please they are immensely precious. I wish the world could really learn from them. Corporaties, workplaces, schools, everyone...
