Oh and the orange dragon ball that flies through the sky before minghao’s part comes in and the whole instant transmission thing each time someone comes on screen or exits the frame.

Dragonball fan would get the meaning of the lyrics and Dino hand gesture is kamehameha and Joshua part said the power pole which goku has, and Scoups part is about the flying cloud... theyre like goku who start from humble beginning and became super powerful...thats why "this is a cartoon song"

AND especially before Minghao’s part, the ‘orange falling star’ you see is basically the dragon ball shooting out to the universe after a wish is made and someone is revived usually in the anime. The dragon ball was used to bring Minghao into the MV because he was missing otherwise (due to his injury). And thus he makes his appearance right after the dragon ball is shot in the universe.
