Thanks for reacting to seventeen! Outside of EXO they are the best voices in kpop in my opinion. You should listen to kidult by seventeen when you get a chance.

Yes. They even sung 'Hug' (Vocal Team song) and turned it into rock version . The original is ballad.

Pretty sure a lot of international fans don’t know youngji. She is pretty popular in Korean GenZ. I really loved her since High school rapper 3. Yes she did come from a rapping competition. She is hilarious has her own interview talk show on KZread. Seungkwan actually went on it and promised a juice cover there.

@@Waleska-Herrera actually they had been talking about doing the cover before the interview but solidified the plans there. She and Seungkwan have both crossed paths in other shows. She has actually been a carat for a long time. She made contact with them through one of her reality shows. It was really cute to see her screaming when Hoshi says hi. Hoshi is her bias but she and Seungkwan have a great friendship. He would be so pleased that he helped her gain more fans internationally. I'm obsessed with both of them and all of seventeen. Ty for this video.

The darling music video storyline is based on Peter Pan story. So they are stuck in Neverland they don’t age time doesn’t move, they don’t have a shadow. In the first scene Vernon tries to cover his face from the sun but he doesn’t have a shadow so he runs to tell the other members. As they slowly get their shadows back they are thrust back to reality. Fun fact: Wendy’s surname was Darling.

Woozi produces/co-writes does all seventeen tracks actually so youre right! From time to time in every album all the members also participates in every song too thats why they we’re called korea’s “self-producing group” besides from also always paticipating in their choreography (specifically their performance leader Hoshi) and doing other things related to their performances/merch and everything hehehe

I think I have recommended Young ji once or twice but I guess she’s not as known right now by kpop stans. Seungkwan’s cover of Juice with her is actually how I found her as well. She’s really good!

Lee Youngji is not just talented but she's legitimately the funniest figure around these days = she's got her own variety yt series now and a lot of idols have guested on it including Seungkwan, Hwasa, etc

That's the thing is those units are just labels because of their specialty, but the boys are multi-talented. And this has been proven in so many shows, concerts, and their b-sides.

The girl who sang with seungkwan is Lee Youngji. Please watch her performance on Immortal songs with ailee. They sang Bang Bang and won.

believe it or not the performance unit song in the rollong stone was originally a dance song. If you ever listin to the original song you'd see how beautiful the dance for this one was.

Seventeen is basically just 13 dancers, 13 singers, and 13 rappers. They can switch places if they want to.

Btw Woozi writes all of Seventeen's songs. He's the main producer. Genius producer

The reason I fell inlove with Vernon: He raps and performs effortlessly and naturally. It always feel like he always own the stage eversince I've watched their pre-debut check.

Also Darl+ing is a pre-release single of their upcoming full album May 27! That’s why the MV was also kind of a cliffhanger 😅 Look forward to it! Also they are releasing 13 trailers of the video you watched because of their upcoming 4th FULL album!

Originally, the concept of SEVENTEEN was to debut with literally 17 members. Half of them are to be in the performance team and half is to be in singing team. But since the other 4 members left, they regroup themselves and revised the meaning of Seventeen: 13 MEMBERS + 3 UNITS + 1 GROUP = SEVENTEEN.

You need to listen to The 8’s solo song Hai Cheng which he recently released. The lyrics, the voice, the video it is all so beautiful!!

It’s not the first English song in their discography but it is the first one with the 13 of them!! They have put out solos (Bands Boys and Ruby) and duos (Vernon and Joshua have 2 songs together: Rocket and 2Minus1 in full English)

Hi! Darl+ing is an English-language single before their upcoming 4th Full Album this May 27. Darl+ing 's MV is based on the the story of Peter Pan. They are in Neverland and they are stucked in time.

You're right saying that Darling is Seventeen's first English track as a group. And also on the part that Woozi's a genius. and just wanna say that if you are amazed with the rolling stone performance, you should consider listening to the original or the album version of their songs first, then listen and watch the re-arranged ones. I'd say it's a whole new level amazing.

Thanks for this podcast :) SVT self-produce their songs, Woozi being in the centre of each one since their debut, all the members also have songs credits. Hiphip unit always write their own raps. In terms of them being divided into 3 units, it just means they like to do that more, but they are all rounders, so all of them can sing and dance and do it all. A back story of why SVT are self-produced when it comes to their music and coherograohy is becuase Pledis could not afford to debut them, so they had to learn these skills when they were trainees, they basically had to make their own music to be able to debut, and this is why since the start they have been in control of their sound and performances. Please can you react to the original tracks of the Rolling Stones performances.

Perfromance unit on Rolling Stone really decided to snag their chance for people to hear their vocals!! I personal think all 4 members of that unit are also the 4 most wellrounded members of SVT! But as main performers they are ususally doing all the hardest choreo (because they ARE so good) which doesn't allways allow them to showcase their awesome vocals and rapping. I just love all the amazing harmony they chose to do with this version of Lilili Yabbay.

What I love about SVT is that they are given the opportunity to experiment with different genres and let them dip foot into their liking. Also they are given the same treatment when it come to making sure they are hear with their unit.

One thing I'm sure, Hoshi confirmed in the MV behind, that they're in the Neverland ( darl + ing mv). I guess carats' peter pan theories were correct. I also think this song and mv goes something about the pain of growing, which some of us fears, wonwoo was also reading in there titled 'growing pains'. In which is a key element on the story of Peter Pan. At the first half, they're in a bright atmosphere only experiencing happiness, but then when they discovered they don't have shadows that's when it started to go bad. U can also notice during the 'happy' parts the clock is stopped. But once they all discovered that they don't have shadows (hence their fears), the time moved again. U can see the changes starting with scoups & woozi having shadows. Vernon was the first one to discover their situation, u can see on the first part where he's lying, the bird has a shadow but when he tried to stretch his hands to shade his face he didn't had any shadow, u may also see the ground eating up the broken road where he is lying, before the 'darling' title came out. jun also discovered the painting on the wall, carats' think that it might be the albums that will be released by svt this year. the middle & dark one would be for the May full album comeback, hoshi also mentioned in an interview that the cb would be hot & passionate so... darkteen it is😆 lastly for wonwoo, one of the theory that makes sense to me as I read carats' post on twt, he is already aware abt what is gonna happen, if you can remember past svt mvs (oh my, getting closer, fear etc) wonwoo was always the one who's like seeing something or controlling something (idk😅) . They said there's always something in his eyes, if u may take a closer look you'll see wonwoo is wearing a broken glasses, but he didn't wear it right when he was hesitant to enter the chapel with the boys (i also saw a carat said, that maybe, he was hesitant, because he already new that something bad will happen)
