Darling mv is just beautiful. 35:47 actually what they are trying to show here is when Vernon pull Joshua's hand with the flower, the flower have a shadow while there's no any shadow of Joshua's hand. In the beginning of the video too when they show Vernon was lying under the sun, he try to block the sunlight using his hand, but then he realized he doesn't have shadow either. And as u can see, from time to time, the shadow starting to appear and growing. I remember reading an explanation from a carat about the storyline in this video when it came out, but I forgot the storyline tho😂 however it was like a teaser for their face the sun album actually because darling was a pre-release single before their HOT comeback. So it somehow related with the storyline.

During SEVENTEEN NANA tour, Bri looks like she’s in love whenever Mingyu comes on 🤣

You guys missed the Anyone video, it's on the same album as Ready to Love, it's called a Special Video & not mv, but it's 1 you NEED to watch, & since you've seen Hot already you can just watch it next... Also, I just wanted to say that anyone that says they only have 1 bias in Seventeen is lying, at least to themselves, lol, biasing the whole group seems to be more common with them too, I bias the whole group cuz I've been following them since Seventeen TV started in 2013, so choosing biases is impossible for me

Yeah n Vernon came to tell them bout their shadows that were not there... you can see when they saw the flower it had shadow but when Vernon pulled Joshua's hand in the sun they can't see their shadows... it's a realisation of conflicts n worries that made their world dull

I think you girls missed Seungkwans adlibs at the end he goes hard and his adlibs there are so beautiful imma just put the time stamps where it is and increase the volum so you can hear them I mean you can even if you dont but since you were so focused on the chorus you cant notice his adlibs, his adlibs start around 15:20 so just here them closely and you will fall harder in love with him ❤‍🔥❤‍🔥

Darl+ing is a pre-release to Hot and was the first song off of the Face the Sun album!! it’s one of Seventeen’s most cohesive and thematic album in my opinion, they absolutely killed it with this one. when you guys listen to it in full you’ll understand exactly what i mean. throughout the MV they reference/hint at multiple of the bsides in the album! Face the Sun, YOU’LL ALWAYS BE LOVED. Ready to Love is such a bop and i don’t know why people gave it so much hate. i think the backlash was more so bc it was Seventeen’s very first comeback after Pledis being acquired by HYBE. Bang PD was also a producer on the song so i think everyone was afraid that bc of this, Seventeen would lose their signature Seventeen touch. But tbh they proved them wrong. it’s still VERY much SVT and is still one of my favorite title tracks from them!! also, the choreo still stands as my all time favorite choreos. picking a bias in SVT is already hard but predicting who other people bias is a whole different ball game LOL. i’m gonna have to say Mingyu, DK, Coups are in Bri’s bias line and Wonwoo, Seungkwan, and Woozi are in Tori’s ????? i’m probably 100% off lol but atleast i tried. 😂😂 i’m OT13 all the way but i’m almost positive my top 3 would be Coups, Seungkwan, Mingyu.

First, you know a video is AMAZING when English speakers watch it twice (once with lyrics) and they don't realize that the whole song is in English!!!! Also, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who sometimes misses the connections and storytelling between MVs. Darling has a lot of hidden messages - them "Facing the Sun" - you've definitely seen that, them turning to ash, and definitely the play with shadows is also pretty cool. I don't think you caught the fact that they did not have shadows when they were together. I really love the discovery of something new everytime I rewatch it.

you're actually very on point with a lot of things with the Darling MV. It's actually set before the HOT MV so what you see in the end is their HOT "personas". Like you've said it's a lot of like Lost Boys theme and Growing Pains. Like they were in a utopian world previously where time does not move and they don't have shadows and it's all colorful and happy but then time moved (they grew up) and their world kinda turned upside down and they had to go through hardships and became bruised etc. I have a lot more to say because Darling really is very interesting and then going to Hot and then you have the album Face The Sun. it's all very cohesive and tells a huge story

Darl+ing was actually kind of the song that got me into the diamond life... it was the start. I saw this and it was so beautiful and the dialing/darling part kept getting stuck in my head - and then HOT came out next. And I was like waitwaitwait, this is the same group???? Whaaaaaaat? And then they did Killing Voice and I loved all the songs and I was off. But Darl+ing was really the EARLY beginning.... and yeah - so you know how it kinda ends cause the next thing that happens is they're in the desert, facing the sun, being hot. HAHAHA But READY TO LOVE is so good, too - I think you would love watching the genius version they did, the arrangement is SO COOL. But anyway - idk. I loved your reaction but am not sure who your biases are at this point. Also, Woozi revealed in an interview that the reason behind the "+" in darl+ing is because as this song is written for carats and he wanted to emphasize that the process of loving carats is continuous ( that is why the 'ing' as in continuous tense ). They are still loving carats and will never stop loving them. I hope I explained it right because these are not his exact words but something along these lines. If someone wants to correct me, please do.

The in sync exclamation to SVT having no chill in the rain was just perfect, your reactions always make me lol.

I thought tori was glancing at jun and woozi a lot, but not sure. And Bri is maybe leaning towards coupsie and mingyu, but im not sure at all haha

Have you done rock with you yet? Am i missing something? 😭 or you not going in a row? So many questions 😂

I love your reactions and by the way,i love all the same but my top bias is Jeonghan. he sometimes gets wracked by joshua,dk,dino and wonwoo🤣🤣 joshua wrecked jeonghan cuz he is my type. Dk wrecked jeonghan bcz his personality is bright and he is very hyper,visual and talent😂 for dino,his laugh 😂 and wonwoo maybe his rap and visual? And whenever i watch going seventeen,i admire jeonghan's brain and cuteness but other members just wont leave me alone😭😭 And in other shows or tiktok edits or pinterest...*sigh* you probably went through this like me😭😭 they bias wrecked jeonghan emotional damaged-ly LOLLL 😔😔 but its okay,i always go back to jeonghan cuz i love him and he is my actual bias🥰💐 Edit: i love seungkwan too. he is not my bias wrecker but he is my bias wrecker...his visual is over the moon😭😭and his talent left me speechless..also he just follows what carat says in that one live to not look at the (girl group) mv and just listen(dont look)😂 his actions made my heart flutter...and his words too..aaaa boo seungkwan 😭😭😭 also i love his friendship with 98L 😢 everyone adores him

Based on what they've said about the album, in this MV, the good things slipping away and darkness creeping in only for their whole world to fall apart (literally) is Covid hitting and cutting them off from Carats, making them fear for that relationship and their careers. I'd recommend watching Seanna TV's review of the album on youtube. I guess carats' peter pan theories were correct. I also think this song and mv goes something about the pain of growing, which some of us fears, wonwoo was also reading in there titled 'growing pains'. In which is a key element on the story of Peter Pan. At the first half, they're in a bright atmosphere only experiencing happiness, but then when they discovered they don't have shadows that's when it started to go bad. U can also notice during the 'happy' parts the clock is stopped. But once they all discovered that they don't have shadows (hence their fears), the time moved again. U can see the changes starting with S.Coups & woozi having shadows. Vernon was the first one to discover their situation, u can see on the first part where he's lying, the bird has a shadow but when he tried to stretch his hands to shade his face he didn't had any shadow, u may also see the ground eating up the broken road where he is lying, before the 'darling' title came out. jun also discovered the painting on the wall, carats' think that it might be the albums that will be released by svt this year. the middle & dark one would be for the May full album comeback, hoshi also mentioned in an interview that the cb would be hot & passionate so... darkteen it is😆 lastly for wonwoo, one of the theory that makes sense to me as I read carats' post on twt, he is already aware abt what is gonna happen, if you can remember past svt mvs (oh my, getting closer, fear etc) wonwoo was always the one who's like seeing something or controlling something (idk😅) . Peter Pan concept, time does not move, In the end the clock broke and reality set in. Brace yourselves with SVT JAPAN releases, they are super amazing and their Bsides esp. Shadow, To You, Imperfect Love, I Don't Understand But I Luv U, Back It Up and their ballads are outstanding. Thank you for the SVT reactions.
