I saw Jeremy and Christine, but I missed Lars and Sadie.

"the only place heathers and marthas can get along is in heaven" and then jds face at the end.. i think he really died through the explosion (bc. well nothing of him was damaged) and thats his ghost standing there. but to be honest it would also be really cool if he would have survived the bomb even though he was really damaged. idk i just liked his character :/ but veronica really did make things better and i think it would be a nice idea if jd just watches over her while she makes the highschool a better place along with the heathers and martha^^ oh and your animatic is awesome! - as you can see quite thoughtprovoking too :D

THANK YOU FOR THAT ONE FRAME OF JD AT THE END. The ending was always too sweet for me and I think that was a good way to do it. JD STILL HAPPENED. 4 people still died, and 2 people still tried to kill themselves. The ending is just too sweet, and that little flash of JD is just a great reminder of the fact ha everything still happened and it isn't all fixed now, without spoiling the happy ending.

the way i like to interpret this song is that JD'S plan of blowing up the school actually worked, and the entire school is in heaven singing about how they'll always stay 17 and act like it too. the amount of references to childhood make it seem like they'll never grow old and they regret acting older and now that they died, they'll never grow up.

YES!!! As much as I love/hate Heather Duke, she's my fave, and I've been looking for a "Seventeen (Reprise)" animatic where Heather Duke gets a happy ending. She'sthe Heather I can relate to the most, but Heather Mac is still my cinnamon roll. :)

This song is really sad if you think about it. 4 people had to die in order for there to be peace at this school. It could never be like this otherwise. And I believe that's JD's ghost at the end watching over veronica as she makes the high school beautiful again. Also I love how you have Duke a happy ending.

Technically there was another way. In a parallel universe they somehow got on a quest to make Heather Chandler change her ways and in doing so preventing Kurt and ram from getting themselves into something stupid and also not sending JD off the deep end

I'm actually glad Heather Duke changed...Usually all the heathers fandom hate Heather Duke and they usually never make Heather Duke change her ways in the heathers 17 reprise animatic. I'm glad this version has Heather Duke change her way.

This song showcases that things will get better. With Duke no longer leader and Veronica and Martha becoming friends again show that there is hope yet. Of course, Veronica can't promise a perfect life, but she can end the cycle of ridicule that created the murderous JD.

I can honestly say this is my favorite Seventeen Reprise animatic. I'm in love with how much more power you add to their emotions, yet not to the point where you're exaggerating and scaring me off. This should have way more views

i always imagined this song ending with kurt, ram and heather c’s spirits watching the song and then disappearing, like finally passing on

A weird yet kinda cool thing I would add to the part where Veronica says “I can’t promise no more Heathers” would show a brief montage of the Plastics from Mean Girls, since their film is set in the 2000s while Heathers is in the 80s. It would connect the two films by adding depth to Veronica’s line where after one popular girl group falls, another will always rise to take its place.

To begin, this is one of the most wholesome animatics for Heathers I have seen in ages. Second, your art style is extremely adorable. I love all the happy endings you gave everyone. It just makes my heart so happy. Also, LARS AND SADIE. TWILIGHT AND APPLEJACK. YES. I AM IN LOVE WITH THE REFERENCES.

I honestly like how you added the last remaining Heathers to Veronica and Martha’s friend group especially since Martha is forgiving Veronica for ditching her to be a part of a popular clique. Bullying is horrible but being deserted and backstabbed by the closest and only friend that you have hurts far worse. If anything can be learned from Heathers it’s that, all (healthy) relationships no matter what type need perfect acceptance of an imperfect person.
