I was wondering that too lol I think mostly it was because kimchi is a thing that can be seen in any restaurant in Korea here, and it's more like a side dish which you have it with the main menu (like gravy sauce), so... yeah

Like they said, tteokbokki goes well with deep fried crispy stuff, even if you're not in Korea definitely try the combo. Street carts have them as combo sets but I've even mixed in doritos when I ran out of the fried snacks ahahahaha anything crunchy crispy goes really well with the sauce.

I love them so much and I miss Seoul 😭 The food 😭😭😭

In my two times visiting SoKor, I have seen all the places they recommended here except the HYBE museum and attending a SEVENTEEN concert. I don't think it's possible. The ticket-buying in shows is brutal, and it gets sold out in a matter of minutes. And the little food stalls in Dongdaemun, that's a must-visit, yes, just like what Mingyu said.
