That video is from a chinese show called CYZJ in which he participated together with Minghao (The8), Samuel (former seventeen trainee) and Yanan from Pentagon. Jun and Yanan became very close and Jun chose Yanan to form a duo because he felt that both of them could face their insecurities together. They had very little confidence in their abilities, Jun at that time had already been able to overcome a huge part of them with the help of the other Seventeen members, but Yanan still had many fears when it came to performing on stage. At that time, Yanan also had some problems that affected his emotional stability (self-confidence and his group problems). So Jun became his support during that hard time. Jun is an extremely mature person, despite how he usually jokes around all the time. He debuted at the age of 2 as a model, and began his acting career at the age of 3. In his life he only had his mother and she worked as his manager, he loved acting, so becoming a great actor was his dream. He was an active actor for many years, he even won the award for 'Best New Actor' at the Hong Kong Film Director's Guild when he was 12. And was nominated for the same award the following year at the Hong Kong Films Awards. All his life he had to interpret different personalities, which is why he developed a certain fear of showing his true identity in front of the cameras, and which is why he was very shy during recordings. When he was in school, he practiced Wushu and really liked to perform on stage. One day he had a very hard fall during a show, but he got up and continued the rutine. He did not tell anyone about his pain, until his health began to decline. He had Pott's disease (spinal tuberculosis), with the help of his family he was able to continue his treatment with courage, until it got better. His waist could never recover 100% so he had to give up wushu. When he was offered to be an idol, he saw it as a chance to start over. He traveled to Korea, he knew nothing of the language, but he was very brave to take a risk and leave his career to pursue a new dream. At first he was extremely shy and quiet but over the years he has started to show more of his true personality, and to feel more comfortable with the camera. This has helped a lot in the way he performs on stage, the confidence he has gained is very visible and we are very proud of him. Jun is very empathic because he has experienced a lot in his life 💓

Thank you so much for sharing some of Jun's story with me. He's such a talented individual and I hope he recognizes that! I can't imagine the difficulties they must of all faced. I love to see how much comfort the members now bring each other and how much of a family they seem like.

59:08 Jun has some solo songs, im going to talk about 3, each one of them represent different emotions and stories. "Limbo" is his latest song and it has it's own MV, the vibe is really seductive and the music style It's different from what Jun usually does, since he loves ballads. The theme of the song is narcissism and shows a character that is trying to seduce a person, but in that process Jun's character falls in love with his own reflection more and more, and that leads him to enter a Limbo, a secret place shown to lovers who dream of true love but hesistate. There he begins to lose himself, since there is no way out, and he goes crazy. "Silent Boarding Gate" It has it's own MV, is a sad love song. It shows us the point of view of a character who is trapped in a space and time, who is trying to find a boarding gate to departure for a new start. That leads to constant memories from the past, and comparisons with the present. "Crow", my personal favorite. It doesn't have an MV. For context, the song was composed by a gay couple from Malaysia. It was the first song they were able to release, and they were very grateful that Jun chose it and wanted to collab with them. Jun was really happy to work with them because it was a very meaningful song for him too. The song is about breaking the prejudices and fight for what you love. In the song, Jun talks about how society sees him as a crow for being different. How people treat crows badly and see them as the bad guys. Crows can cry and love too, just like everyone else, love has no differences, but crows will always be judged. So they must be brave and fight against adversities for their love. Jun asks other crows to give themselves a chance to prove that they are also beautiful. The lyrics are REALLY beautiful and you can find them in the channel 'seventeenlyrics', It's the most used channel by carats since it has very accurate translations, with explanations of terms that sometimes do not have a direct translation in English. I totally recommend you to check that channel when you want to see translations of seventeen songs, since they perfectly identify the member who is singing, unlike the other channels that tend to confuse the voices of the members. @@rosequartz9687 Ohh the 'Jun Playlist' video is amazing, he sang some of his songs live, the feeling when he sings live is captivating so I recommend it 100%. Although I'm not really sure if it's safe to react to that video, I've only seen two reactors do it. I still recommend to watch it if you want to see more of Jun. There are english captions. He sang "Can you sit by my side", "Dream", "Crow" and "Silent boarding gate". He also sang a bit of some songs by other artists that he likes.

Fun fact BTS Jk is close to Mingyu, The8 and DK. They share a chat along With a few others that were born in 1997. He even went to one of their recent concerts and spent time backstage with them. Dino also is friends with Ateez Wooyoung, stry kids Changbin and Txt Yeonjun.

FYI Dino also cooks (from scratch, not meal kit stuff) and helps out Woozi with topline vocals in creating songs. Jun also is protective towards the members, he looks out for them in the background, so to speak, like a parent. Probably because he's a hyung, it's a natural role. Its difficult to choose a bias in Seventeen, they're all so talented, unique and have different charms but I have a couple. Looking forward to your reaction of the vocal unit.

When it comes to live, seventeen is one of the few kpop groups that really sing well live, and they are also considered the most synchronized group, it amazes me every time how all 13 members manage to do so well. Thanks for reacting to Seventeen. And to answer your question--YES! Please watch 17 Project. Some parts are difficult to watch but necessary to know where they started from. About live performances--there are so many, but the Rolling Stone section you saw for the hip hop unit also has the other 2 units in two other rooms. The 8's solo mv HaiCheng is not to be missed. PS They all can do everything❤

for their solo songs, i would highly recomend: hoshi's spider (my fav, this song made me fall madly in love with him and made him one of my biases along with mingyu, like things really CHANGED yk), jun's limbo, the8's side by side, woozi's ruby, mingyu's & wonwoo's bittersweet (im sorry, this song is not a solo song but i just love it so so much i cant 😫)

37:13 i always have more than one bias in any group, usually 2 or 3, but with seventeen i have 4 lmao and i cant say thats the final number, i honestly love every single one of the boys its so hard to pick favorites

if you really want to get to know them and planning on staning them then you should watch going seventeen, i would really grateful if you react to it (you dont have to if you dont want to tho). you dont really have to watch it in order but i think it would be better if you watch it in order tho. if you watch it in order, i think you should start from going seventeen 2020, they have had going seventeen since 2017 but from 2017 to 2019 are just behind the scence stuff so its kinda boring to new fans. im not gonna lie going seventeen has the best contents EVER. for more seventeen's variety shows, there are 'hit the road' and 'one fine day'. hit the road is about the bts of their world tour 'be the sun', there are 13 ep and each ep is for a member. hit the road is so heartbreaking, idk if i can watch it again or not 😞. now, move on to one fine day. it has two seasons, s1 is since when they were just rookies, they had to go on an island that has only a few ppl, and like they had to basicly learned how to survived yk (sorry im really bad at explaining things so if you dont understand then im so so sorry T^T), and s2 is called one fine day in japan, it was filmed one year after s1, its not as hard as s1 but its still really fun! ofc going seventeen is enough for me to made them my ult but hit the road and one fine day just made me fall in love with them harder (oh i forgot to included seventeen project too haha!)
