thank you for reacting to SEVENTEEN! I'll try to give a little summary of their career since there's a lot to cover. SEVENTEEN is a 13-member boy group from PLEDIS ENT. They debuted on May 26th, 2015 (9th anniversary coming soon!) with the EP '17 CARAT'. They are know as a SEL PRODUCING IDOL GROUP since all of the members are involved in writing, composing and producing their songs, choreographies and content. Also got the name of 'Most Synchronized Group', 'K-pop Performance Powerhouse' and 'Theater Kids of K-pop' because of their amazing performances and dedication to their work. The name SEVENTEEN come from the meaning: 13 members + 3 units (vocal, performance and hiphop) + 1 team = 17. The units represent the members' most strong ability, vocalists, dancers and rappers, respectively. They have special units as well; BSS (BooSeokSoon), known mostly as the funniest trio in the group. SVT Leaders, each main unit has a leader and it's formed by SEVENTEEN's general leader, SEVENTEEN's producer and SEVENTEEN's main choreographer. Fandom name is CARAT, as in the unit of mass to measure diamonds. Since SVT being the diamonds themselves, and we, as fans, are the reason why they shine. Okay hear me out please I think this is actually the perfect time to become a carat! For this comeback, aside from Maestro they are also releasing unit MVs (SEVENTEEN has 3 units: Hip Hop, Performance, Vocal) and each unit has 4-5 members only so you’ll get to know their faces faster. They have released 2 unit mvs so far ‘LALALI’ from the hiphop unit and ‘SPELL’ from the performance unit and then vocal unit mv is coming out next week! I suggest watching LALALI first then SPELL, and so on. Btw I loved your reaction and thanks for finally checking out SEVENTEEN! 7:48 Girl, we just can't choose, whoever has 1 bias has 12 wreckers, whoever has 2 bias has 11 wreckers, whoever has 3 bias has 10 wreckers, etc etc etc. Many of us just give up and are ot13 because once you meet them you realize it's hard not to love them, they're all so cute, they're attentive to the fans, and they have many positive qualities that make you love them all. 🥹🩷 You should see more of them, they are versatile and their discography is great, you won't regret it, you can also see if the Japanese discography is wonderful!!

No the best part about seventeen is that theyre an "older" gen group, so theyre all in the latter half of their twenties. Which also means their concepts are more mature and enjoyable (like more relatable) for people over the age of like 20ish or whenever that might start (no offense meant at all to newer gen groups i just cant really relate to the high school scene anymore lolol). HIGHLYYYY recommend their japanese tracks. Their JPN Debut track was Call Call Call! so I recommend starting there. Then theres Fallin Flower, 24h, Happy Ending, dream, Ima - Even if the world ends today (their most recent japanese track) and more. Maestro is their most recent full unit release, but their recent album comes with 3 new songs from each of the 3 units, Spell from the Performance unit (Hoshi (Leader and often the lead or co-choreographer), The 8, Dino(maknae), and Jun), Lalali from the Hiphop unit (S. Coups (Leader of SEVENTEEN as a whole and the hiphop unit individually), Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon), and Cheers to Youth from the Vocal Unit (Woozi (Leader and Producer), Jeonghan, Joshua, Dokyeom (youll mostly see him referred to as dk these days, actually his stage name mightve been changed to that but im not entirely sure) and Seungkwan) HIGHLY recommend watching the MV for Spell that just came out yesterday, the performance unit really went all out. its just so beautiful id LOVE to see your reaction on it As for recommendations i GOT YOUUU LOL Run to you is PHENOMENAL. Anime opening vibes. This one has no MV and is incredibly underrated lol if i produced that song i would never shut up about it Pretty U is a classic. One of their older songs so it does have that younger vibe lol but its ADORABLE. If you listen to it i highly recommend watching their performance of pretty u from their "ode to you" tour, its on their youtube channel so you can just type "Seventeen pretty u ode to you" and youll find it. Adore you is their debut from 2015, really impressive for a rookie group! They didnt debut with very much money and supposedly their manager had to pull out a huge loan to support them because he really did believe in them but couldnt afford it on his own (Ive heard people say he had to sell his home but Im not entirely sure how accurate this is so I'd look into it if you are curious). Rock with you is more recent from a couple years ago with a gorgeous mv Actually I'd recommend their entire Face the Sun album, but especially shadow, another one that deserved a music video that we never got 😪 Theres so much more but I think this is a good enough start LOL ill come back if i think of any more :) Welcome to caratland! btw their variety show is called Going Seventeen, highly recommend watching! Theyre natural entertainers. Also, since their comeback was just recently they are doing promotions! So plenty of new interviews for you to check out lol its one of my favorite parts of comebacks. Actually speaking of interviews HIGHLY recommend the interviews they did on Youngjis drinking show (Its called "no prepare" but you can just type Youngji SEVENTEEN) she did one with Hoshi, one with dk and joshua, and one with seungkwan. So funny, the one with hoshi is adorable.

The member who rapped "scherzo" is S. Coups (pronounced "S Coops") is Seventeen's team leader, AND is the leader of the Hip Hop sub-unit. He's the one who appears towards the end with the "maknae", the youngest, Dino, doing the rap duet before the finale. Hoshi, the platinum blonde directing the orchestra and glitching at the beginning) is leader of the Performance sub-unit. And Woozi...well, I explained him below. As for Mingyu--the one you said you thought you'd seen on social media--he's the most popular worldwide for his visuals. (Go figure!) The second most popular is Jeonghan, the one who bows and gives a little smirk...that sends Carats (as in 17-carat diamonds) into a frenzy. As for their ages, they're all in the mid- to late-20's now; but hey...I'm in my 60s and still can appreciate their beauty as young men. I think of them as sons or brothers...even best friends. It's all good! That's also why I don't have a single bias, as I bias them all.

Plus, you MUST watch the dance practice for "Super". It's even more epic than their MV! "God of Music" is another to see. Knowing that Woozi (the shortest one and team leader of the Vocal sub-unit--he's the blonde playing the piano in "Maestro" and the Monkey King at the beginning and end of "Super") actually writes ALL of their songs (including "Super" and "Maestro") and produces 95% of them ("Super" and "Maestro" had contracted production teams outside of Seventeen) makes Seventeen even more special.

And fyi svt is known as self producing idol in kpop.They make and include in almost every project. Woozi (the leader is vocal unit and bumzu is svt main producer so basically every song u heard is 98% his work and ofc other member will help in making lyrics and some member often produce with him like vernon), Hoshi (the leader of perfomance team is part of svt's choreographer so he and some choreographer make choreo for svt's song and ofc with help of the members), and not just that, they also make some their MV, the goods, even magazine😭😭😭 they fvcking talented i swear😭 They also known as king of synchronization and theatre kids of kpop too. Its the tittle that general people give to svt bcs of their dance, performance is unmatch and in sync even tho they're 13 people. So if u talk about dance, svt will always there.. Just watch all their dance practice and u will know🙂🙏 And ofc their visual tho, like u can see.. each of them all handsome and have their own charisma, but their personality is number one. They're a bunch of kind people, they're so genuine with people and also with their job. So that why almost all people that work or meet svt will like them (there's a lot testi from staff, PD- nim, idol, artist or just random people that meet svt.. (they're known as a bunch of humble and kind kids😭) And on top of that..THEY'RE FUNNY (just watch their variety show so u will know😅 they just pure entertainer) *yes ofc u will think my comment is ridiculous bcs its like i just bragging too much about svt😭 and yes its true but its not, so just deep diving and learn more about them it'll be fun* Btw just watch super long guide to svt so u will know the basic info about svt. It took quite a long time to pull out my actual biases from my SVT bias line. Notice i said 'biases'. My problem was that i was trying to choose between S. Coups (the member with the 'scherzo' line, and Wonwoo (the member with the action scene). It took literal years to realize i couldn't separate them. They are both part of my very short kpop ult line.

But sorry I can't solve ur problem, SVT has always been my problem since 10 years ago..I can never solve it and instead it gets worse🙂 Now I can't get out of this diamond life forever. Don't worry, at least your life will be happier, I guarantee that. And for other problems..its okay, you're not alone bcs these're always our problem so we just accept that. *We don't choose, we take all of them* 🙃 I'm sure all carats are like that too..
