Mingyu in this song has a lot of lines but they included the hit sound intro which is a extra 7 seconds to his time

DK is my bias and I'm not angry at all because he has had many opportunities in the past and will have many in the future to show his talent. But you can watch and listen to the song and realize that it is mostly meant for the hip hop and dance team. Not many parts for the vocals, but the vocal team have always led in line distribution in the past and I feel like this was rightfully distributed to fit the song. And The 8 was the center during the dance break but I would also like him to be able to sing and do a bit of hip hop because he is also interested in that. Anyways Hit is an amzing song and Seventeen has again for the nth time managed to snatch my wig

Never thought I’d get to see DK, S.coups and Hoshi at the bottom and Mingyu and Jeonghan at the top, but here we are, I’m not mad, this was probably one of the most diverse line distributions by seventeen

The “pride of pride” background adlib sounds like it would be dk, seungkwan has a lil more pitched voice & in the chorus the “woo woo woo~” sounds like Joshua

performance is not always about line distribution, you have to remember that this song has lots of dance breaks. the performance team slayed those and if you are disappointed because of lines of the8, he was shining in the center during dance breaks, he was so beautiful there.

I'm not mad at all that some got few and some got more. The members along with Bumzu and other staffs all of them discuss together abt line distributions and everything. And like who's concept matches with it. So Hit was basically Mingyu, Jeonghan and Jun's time to shine on. I want add Seungkwan here since he gets lines as usual and Vernon cause of adlibs. Ok DK got few since maybe Hit was not his era to shine. As per of Mingyu and Jeonghan their lines Jun as per of his centre dance and screen time

The8 literally has 3.8 seconds of the song, feel sorry for THE8 stans, cry with me.

Okay but have you noticed that SEVENTEEN has a unique way of distributing lines? Like, if someone got less lines in a particular song, they'll get more screen time ( sometimes ) and specially more lines in their next song. That's actually pretty good. Including all 13 members with almost equal lines is tough but they're still managing it so well ( i mean, look at nct and if not that then other groups with less members ) This way, no one goes unappreciated to I think it's perfect the way it is. However, I still think THE8's voice needs more appreciation because it's unique and beautiful in it's own way

except for DOKYEOM. no lines, no screen time. in other songs, he sings a lot but his screen time in the music videos is abysmal. they always pan to another member or to a group shot when he’s singing. but alas, carats don’t really care about him so it’s not a big deal.

I see some in the comments complaining about the line distribution. You have to thing about the amount of members there are and the role they have. If one is supposed to be a dancer and not say like a main vocalist, you should expect they won’t get as many lines. I do hope that all the members had at least 1era to shine in tho :)
