Cheska-Ann Suguitan i wasn’t yet a carat when it happened but I researched on it. It happened late 2018 to early 2019. Carats wanted Seventeen’s music video to be released on SVT’s channel not Pledis, but Pledis released it in the company’s channel. Carats got mad and wanted to boycott but other carats wanted to support SVT no matter what (this is apparently one of the famous carat vs carat fights). If you search getting closer you can see that there’s 2 uploads and the MV under Pledis got 10k dislikes, which is unheard of Seventeen MV bc most of their vids only get 6-8k dislikes even if there’s 46m views (like Home and Thanks, but Left and Right and DWC being the anomaly since SVT got bigger in L&R and DWC has like 168m views). Best decision I’ve ever made this year, even though the year just started, is for SVT to become one my ult group.. and for me to not be a silent fan anymore. I’ve been liking SVT around Mansae era, I consider Hoshi as one my ultimate bias. But like I said, i’m more a silent fan type.. who only follows their music release.
