Two separate sevengill shark sightings in La Jolla Cove on 24 July 2011. The first is a 5ft female and the second is an approximately 8ft male. Shot with ambient light using a sanyo xacti hd-1. Both sharks were seen in 30-35ft of water.

Amazing video. Great picture quality. Makes me want to break out my scuba gear.
very nice
I love fishing for them, great tasting and put up a great fight. Boat? The Fury out of San Pablo bay harbor.
Very awesome footage. Is that species of shark not common to these waters? Curious...
nice vid. you clearly live and dive there a lot.i used to live near Pismo area, and saw WAY too many sharks (sand, nurse, grey, dogs, blues, and whites) i remember some HORROR story of an attack in La Jolla, back in the 60,s -70,s ....documented. I also read about one around those days, right off Morro Rock...a dude saw the fin,saw his friend, behind him,go under. He swam back, went right to the spot, looked under water (w/ his mask)-and saw his buddy swallowed UP TO THE WAIST ( ! )-no thanks !
Very cool, and lots of balls. Thank you.
oh crap i hit the wrong button. i meant to hit like . sorry :/
