The piece of glass in the first setup is probably so his feet don't touch the white wall and make it dirty. Had this proble for a long while too.

At 4:15 you can see that the window is a sliding window and will likely open up. My guess is: the glass was already installed before as a railing so people can't fall out when the window is open. Just guessing though!

That ocean view made me homesick! I moved from the Florida Keys to be closer to my aging parents in Atlanta. Great to be near M&D, but I miss the peace and beauty of the water. Great video, mate!!

I've been watching these for so long, I think I could blindly host an episode and the verbiage would be largely the same. Not bagging on your content, but your recommendations are very consistent. Rotate that bezel away from the gap, fix your cable management, get you a pencil drawer, get that clutter off the desk, show some personality, make things symmetrical...etc etc. All sound advice. Cheers.

RE: GLASS UNDER DESK: The owner has a cat, and one of the pictures shows the window is a horizontal slider. So the glass may be to keep the cat from taking a stroke on the beach.

I live right by the sea, the sea gets my vote, the sound of the waves as you're gaming, pure fuckin' bliss.

Cable Management tip, old keyboard drawer/tray and mosquito netting dark as possible. Run cables through the tray then net around to hide/it works for diffusing lighting as well under the desk.

The glass in front of the window is to block you in and for safety for when the window is open. It’s a full floor to ceiling window that slides open on the second floor.

I have the same Asus Tuf monitor and I actually prefer having it with the default stand. It's strong and has angle marks to make sure that it's straight.

I'm in between Travis and Anirudh honestly, bias by the fact that i prefer the simplicity and functionality in setups overall, but I also did like Justin cause he's repping, in my eyes MIAMI COLORS!!!!. Anyways as always great job to all the contestants, and Edgar these videos are always so anticipated and love them, cant wait for more bangers like this.

Also, another huge problem with the 1st setup is the microphone. Corsair has great audio but has a really bad mic. He would be way better off getting a standalone microphone or upgrade to the Razer V2 Pro 2023.

We need some invention for us gamers, some type of desk surface material that's adhesive, scratch resistant and pops like Carbon fiber, in all colors. Then you can buy it in 3 foot rolls, peel and stick and cut with a blade. I never seen anything like this for sale, it's because they want you to buy vinyl mats and pads that easily wear out all the time.

Holy crap the last one was me. I’ve made so many more improvements to the setup on top of moving, I guess I’ll have to enter again! And yes, the case I have doesn’t allow for a fan to be mounted at the rear, but I did end up turning the side fans around to be exhaust when I overhauled my pc.
