How to setup Rigel miner and hiveos to mine Xelis coin on the new Xelishash V2 algorith. Today I show how to update rigel miner in hiveos as well as the best new overcloclks for xelishash v2. I still haven't read the white paper, but it really seems they want to make the new ethereum and not ruin everything by letting asics etc gain control. The low power is amazing, but im not such a fan of the new 3090 performance. My 5 x 3090 will likely go on salad

I probably play all your videos at least a couple times. What are your settings for 3060ti? I am watching right now and feeling impatient lol, I had some succes with mem offset of 500 and picked core to 1245, I just don't know what I'm missing. Core offset ? I dunno. Can you beat reffoxcrypto to some good overclocks? Lol make some sick music too!

@@ModernMiningHub I typed it all out and will give it a try. Assuming you didn't have any typos. Let's see what happens, I have put no spaces between the [fork] inserts. If no go will add spaces I guess?

I think hive already added this with the latest update. I could be wrong but that is what it says in the update. But all the extra configs need to still be entered.

I missed the fork, haven't been mining for a couple days. Updated to latest HIVE OS version, that has Xelis V2 in it & changed algo in flight sheet to xelishash v2 and then rebooted. Still not mining, not sure what else needs to change?! Should I just setup everything using the auto fork settings?

I couldn't get it to work until I updated to HIVE OS 0.6-227@240712, one version newer. Maybe rigel was corrupted, not sure. Now that I'm hashing, I'm playing with my OC settings as my rate dropped a lot from xelis v1.
I actually left my overclocks same and just spent a few hours tinkering. I still have my rig full of 1070-1080ti and 1660s to tune, 10 gpus in total. Any suggestions for the 3060ti?

@@andrewjones198 the clocks in the video get my 3060ti basically the same hash/watt as my 3070!
So are you getting paid out in bitcoin?
I hate handling weird commands etc. Ill give this a try, but i never feel comfortable sleeping without fully tweaked OCs...

Krootman and Rabid have already been running test and OC on the new platform.
Rtx 3070 xelishash - 210 kH, xelishashv2 - 21 kH. About ten times less hashrate. Isn't that suicide?

Doesn’t make any difference. If everyone drops the same amount then everyone gets the same share of the pie as before!

From what I understand, the old xelis algo will go to zero once the new xelis fork is 100% live
