You should be able to! The only difference is you’d be working in rec709 most likely and exporting to rec709 as well if you’re making videos for online platforms. The only things that might change are the frame rates to match your footage and resolution if you’re filming vertical video for example.

Hey! Thanks for the comment. I haven’t dealt with this very often at all. Resolve can interpret the frame rates between the two but as far as converting from one to the other it looks like an outside way may be your best bet.

Thank you for your video, but still if you make video for KZread why do you use Color Managed? I thought color managed is used only for Log. If I shoot in SDR is it okay to use color managed? or should I use just YRGB? What is better?

Hey man! Appreciate you watching. Yes if you’re using SDR video then color managed won’t really do anything for you. It’a ok if you use it though. With the new resolve update they simplified the options and I believe you can just choose SDR now even in color managed mode but not necessary.

Bro, the user interface is soooo laggy especially when adjusting the colour wheel. I have a ryzen 3700x and rtx 3070 so my pc is definately fast enough. Any suggestions?

What’s up my guy? I hear ya even with powerful PCs sometimes it lags. What kind of media we working with? Right off the bat I want to say using optimized media or proxies would speed things up a lot

@@RaoulEnoiu Hey man, it's a constant lag for me.. not even on the playback. Its when i move the colourwheel. I cant adjust it precisely as it keeps freesing and jumping values. The playback is fine. Only stutters when I add effects on to it like transitions.

Thank you, but..... Music is sooo irritating. Why Why WHY. I you MUST use music in a background mix it properly please. It is so disturbing to listen to your interesting explanation! Dont destroy yopur quality, because you think you MUST use music

Indeed it was! Fixed it though so it doesn’t hunt for focus anymore. Sad times when I saw it wasn’t focusing clearly.
