    Does the plastic lose its ‘wrinkles’ after a while? In hotter weather? My one hesitation about this dome ( against the more expensive one) is if it looks messy.

We live at a big lake and woods around us and we were thinking how to just sleep outside when the fireflies were out. What size platform did ya all build. And how cool to set up together thanks for video

    Thank you! It is super sturdy and is still standing after several seasons. We're just outside of Chicago and get rough winters and storms. You just want to remove the cover so branches don't tear it. Otherwise, the skeleton is REALLY strong.

  • @ShelleyVanWitzenburg

    @ShelleyVanWitzenburg

    7 ай бұрын

    We had it up for 2 years in the Chicago suburbs, but then moved out of state. The skeleton feels indestructible, but the plastic cover should definitely not be left out all season long because it gets really dirty and could be punctured by branches.

  • @sweeptight

    @sweeptight

    It's definitely possible. We put it in a very wooded area (obviously) but there aren't any limbs in direct contact with it. I think as long as you don't put it somewhere where it's touching trees, it's fine. :)

    thank you. just thought in a storm or windy day as branches break off and fall, which happens quite often, (we just had branches go through a metal roof yikes! )Houghton it probably wouldn't be good idea to put in our wooded area. hate to lose $800+ great video though on setting it up. thank you

    @@ShelleyVanWitzenburg My daughter hired one for a day and i having seen one in the flesh i have to say its not worth the money. The frame is stable but its not what i`d call rigid or strong because it has too much flex in it. Here`s an identical size dome i built recently that is rock solid with zero flex. It cost me £70/ $98us in materials, 2 days to fabricate the parts and about 3 hours to put together on my own. kzread.info/dash/bejne/nIxs0ZKxZsavf8o.html
