Hi I use to be an IT guy. You have a blessing in disguise there. Your projector is quite new I’d say around from 2021 onwards new and is probably in a good working order. Try and ask your IT guys if the can try and have it pointing above your smart board and connect it up to a document camera maybe ? That way you can have the wall above showing a document camera and your Promethean board with power points etc… If you have potential for a second screen take the opportunity !! My guess is they upgraded their projectors recently but then decided “oh we will get the interactive flat panels instead” and just kept the projectors anyway. Would be shame for so much money to be wasted if they wasn’t going to use them.

You're room is super cute! Just a tip if you want to take the glare off of your alphabet, spay them with Matte Clear Enamel Spray. I used this on my alphabet and it made a huge difference!

Looks great so far. I love the theme. Your fabric fits so well. Just be careful about sectioning off that one corner with the rug. You want to be able to see all your students from wherever you are in the room. I learned the hard way 24 years ago in my first grade class. Yikes! Best of luck for a super year!
