Setting Up A NMEA Network and Installing a Garmin GPS 24XD on a boat
Спорт
In this video we're setting Up a NMEA Network and Installing a Garmin GPS 24XD on a bass boat. Using staff from Garmin we'll show you simple easy tricks to do this and get the most out of this setup
We’re working with the Garmin Technical Staff as they give us a thorough walk through of how to set up the NMEA Network that will allow all of Wade’s Middleton NMEA compatible Garmin electronic units to communicate with one another. From the Garmin GPS 24XD module, to EchoMap™ Ultra 126UV units, we’ll show you how to get your system up and running without a hitch!
This video really shows how easy it is and how to lay it out

Best explanation of the nema 2000 yet!
Thank you so much for this video
I thought the 24xd couldnt go near the motor due to inteferance
What connects to the motor for gauges on electronic’s. Specifically the Yamaha vmax show?
I want to ask if the 19x nmea antenna is compatible with the Garmin 923xsv
hi guys can I connect a gpsmap unit with a echomap unit on the same nmea 2k network?
What about balancing the NMEA network around the power supply? It looks like you have it heavily loaded to the bow side.

You shouldn't have any issues there. We suggest testing the location before mounting it to see if you're getting the results you want.
Sure wish Garmin would fix my problem. I get no information regarding my engine. Please help. I have called, Emailed and suffered for weeks and nobody can figure out my problem.
Why use 2 gps modules and what is the benifit?

Accuracy for most part for the guy who wants to know when he marks a waypoint on bow unit or console unit they are reading exactly where he was. It's not common but folks who like off shore use it a lot
Its crazy that us offshore guys use two units simply for redundancy and yet you bass boys need 4 units for WHAT???
That was good wiring from ranger? 😂😂😂
Why say module and graphs? Why not just say screen and antenna!!
