I know I commented, but according to Wikipedia a morgen was a unit of measurement used in Germany, the Netherlands (& parts of its empire), Poland and Lithuania, varying in size from 1/2 to 2 1/2 acres there, or 2/3rds of an acre in the Balkans, Norway and Denmark. Edit: the unit comes from the amount of work that an ox could theoretically plow in one morning (which was their day's work), hence the name 'morgen'.

Well i am from the netherlands and when reading your comment it made me realize something. Morning is “morgen” translated in dutch. So every day has 1 “morgen”.

something to look into for wool production, there's an upgrade to the fields that allows any fallow fields to be used for as sheep pastures (it's the fence up option), which also helps in crop yield once the field comes into season. i would also say that getting the heavy plow upgrade now is probably better than waiting on it, especially since you made such massive fields, and just make another stable right next to/specifically for the farmhouse. you have the money for it, so might as well, right?

I've been so excited to finally see you start farming and getting sheep!! Sheep are such amazing and versatile animals and a very sustainable way to get clothing since you don't hurt the sheep getting wool

I had watched a video that said if you do smaller fields you get more harvest because the workers finish with them faster. I haven't actually tried it yet, but just a thought to help with your fields. Always enjoy watching your videos.

Technically you dont need 2 families running the ox stable as there are multiple people in a family meaning 1 family can transport 2 oxs instead of having 2 families transport 2 oxs (sounds like a reasonable thing to add if its not already a thing)

The algorithm is what is killin me, I wish it would show me things I want to watch instead of waiting hours or days to show them to me. Usually if I have fine to watch a KZread video, I have a little time, and then life moves on, and that time is gone, so i would prefer not to waste it. Trying to find something interesting. Also: I'm not about to sh*t on reading, because I love reading, by keep in mind, as an accessibility issue, videos are much more accessible to some people than books. I could judge them, but what is the point? Hey, you up in my replies, wodfamchoc, what are your thoughts on the algorithm? How has it been serving you lately, and also: which book (s) are you reading? I just finished The Saboteurs by Michael Dobbs, and I'm about to start Tunnel 29 by Helena Merriman. My favorite authors are R. M. Ballantyne and G. A. Henty (historical fiction). I like to use the Subscriptions page. That way I can see exactly what the people I'm subscribed to have posted, instead of a lot of random junk; especially since I subscribe to a lot of smaller channels, and KZread likes to recommend more popular channels rather than what I actually want to watch. I love the new Queue feature (on PC), so I can queue up all the new videos, rearrange the order however I like, and go to town.

@@Wodfamchocsod4 thx for info on queue feature, I have a d b l ock on pc so if it works with that I have the unstoppable combo 🖤💜💙💚💙💜🖤 Alg these days feels very empty, very unresponsive, except to 'recently watched' input, like NO, SHOW ME something I rarely watch, they have no videos but I don't find out until months later when i search them specifically. I've had new videos by channels I'm subscribed to not show up on subscribed feed until 3 or 4 check-ins later. I have to walk for my service, so it is rlly inconvenient when the alg isn't showing me existing videos when I hike out and just have a quick break or like now, I'm off work and waiting for people to get their butts in gear to go to the river 🖤💜💙💚💙💜🖤 It feels like the algo is gaming my attention and toying with my curiosity to "keep me hooked" because i have specifically noticed a personal trend lately that when i get out here, and I have 20 mins to eat and watch something fun, I can't find a thing I am interested in watching, then at the end of my break, I may or may not have clicked on a random video I was half interested in, and just as I am getting ready to clean up and go back to work, the algo can almost sense my shifting and will deliver an (usually 5 hrs or less than 1 hour old )video as if it was breaking news, but it was NOWHERE before while I had time to watch it, and was refreshing the home page and subscription pages, closing the app and opening it again, why was I not shown any of these videos at the beginning of my break? They existed. 🖤💜💙💚💙💜🖤 Anyway I'm just an old grouch who believes technology should serve us the many The KZread alg makes me feel played with 🖤💜💙💚💙💜🖤 Much Love!

You actually want your fields to be about 1 morgen max, as any larger than that and they spend too much time plowing and sowing and don't finish the harvests in time, if they get to them at all. (an ox can help here though, if you unlock the development, and add a third ox, using heavy plow can speed up the plow and sowing process) a little unintuitive but smaller is better here. also unless it's changed in the recent updates you'll likely do better micromanaging the fields and changing them between crop and fallow yourself as sometimes it doesn't work correctly.

I honestly think the game is in a great place for early access so whether you’d like it or not probably mostly depends on your attitude to early access. I’ve had a lot of fun with it and would recommend it as I think it’s a good game already and I’m excited to see where it goes but that recommendation is on the basis that you fully understand the game is in early access and isn’t finished yet ☺️

A parsnip is shaped like a carrot, except it's white or yellow. It's a root vegetable, which, as far as I can see, is not related to any of the others.

Those fields are way too big from my understanding. You do not want to go over 1.0 morgan per plot.
