The blue tint is obvious after you watch the trailer and it they used a warm tint. Great change in post production.

Well Seth may have got pushed ... But Greg lost.

I love to think about this scene and then the ending of the film. Seth knows the FBI are going to arrest everyone and gave Chris the warning because he was more nice and respectful. Greg, instead, was jealous and spiteful, hence going to jail just like the rest of the others. “FUCK YOU!!!” indeed 😂

Greg, Vin and Seth hung out regularly too. Seth could have easily called them both into the stairwell. Seth renembered which team he was on.

@@rotyler2177 Also, by getting Chris the chance to "do good" by signing the sell ticket, Chris has the ability to argue that as soon as he found out JT Marlin was dirty, he did the best he could to return at least one investor's money. Might reduce his sentence just a bit.

I bet Greg's Ferrari can beat Vin's Rx7 (Fast and Furious) at a quarter mile (while wearing a suit and tie). The money made in the Boiler room is a little more legit than illegal money made on the streets so Greg runs the show and Vin has to step on the side.

Worked with guys like Greg over the years. They can't ever see past the end of their own noses. Ego and the naivety that they think they no more than others. That breeds pettiness, arrogance and complete lack of empathy for others. Only ever ends up one way. Normally offing themselves when it all goes to shit with no friends and no emotional ties.

When he didn’t change the rules, which Seth had signed up to willingly by the way, Seth said ‘f*ck you’… to his boss… and mentor…That’s not how you talk to ANYONE, especially not someone who’s helping you on your way to becoming a millionaire.

@@DrewBloo I understand what you're saying. If Greg was motivated by sticking to the rules and not making exceptions for anyone, I can respect that. But as the audience, we know that Greg's intentions were less than professional. We don't know if Greg ever bent the rules for others. I agree that you obviously should respect your boss, but if your boss is making things personal then he or she is breaking a code of professionalism themselves, and therefore not respecting their employees. Respect is a two way street.

@@alijaffery7735 doesn’t matter. That had nothing to do with this interaction. The viewer is meant to think Gregg is out of order, but regardless, Seth shouldn’t of assumed Gregg would bend the rules for him.

@@NeuralNetProcessor Yep, Greg is one of the main reasons why I loved this movie. It's way more realistic/revealing than almost anything I learned _(back when I was in high school)_ about what it's like to work in the adult world. I've met, I've worked with, and I've worked for a handful of "Gregs" throughout my life. And he's a great reminder that not everyone you work with is gonna be your buddy _(like Vin Deisel here)_ and on your side. We sugar coat too much of what we teach children. And ultimately "Gregs" can be the biggest challenge to being successful/effective in your career path. Each terrible experience dealing with Gregs has taught me many valuable life lessons.

This scene actually contains a continuity error. Chris says he gave each of his guys their 40th account, but Jim later scolds the entire new group saying "Seth is the only one who has closed his 40 accounts".
