You don't know what fear is if you think it can be "overcome". Rationally there is no such thing as overcoming fear! You have two options. 1. ignore your fear or suppress it with drugs. 2. Make a plan on how you are going to beat the thing that you fear, and follow through!
Seth still looks the same when I started college back in 2010. He never ages.

So inspirational and cut to the core! I must say though, I find this look at 1:07 very amusing because it's exactly what I did as well when Seth said how most of his blogs and podcasts are below average, lol.

I believe that it is the most important 'secret' of whatever creative work we are doing. Don't care about the outcome, how the world will perceive it. Do it because you want to. Not because you expect something. You can't control what will happen with your creation. You can only control making the creation. Of course, external feedback can help you to improve your skill. But only if it is constructive. People praising your work don't help you. Haters don't help you. The good critics can help you grow. But you can only use that feedback if you continue to create. Enjoy your journey, it is where all happens. Nothing exists outside of it. Thanks a lot for this enlightning interview :)

Our society is obsessed with 'success' and 'making it' in the corporate world. And those who've taken a step away from it for a period see how silly it all is.

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 - Verse 47 कर्मण्यवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन | मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोSस्त्वकर्मणि || ४७ || karmaṇy evādhikāras te mā phaleṣu kadācana mā karma-phala-hetur bhūr mā te saṅgo 'stv akarmaṇi You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself to be the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty.
"I have no control over it. So therefore, all I can do is merely do this work." I invented this dirty cheap water based precision detergent for cleaning greasy pieces in workshops, but I designed the whole thing so the mechanic doesn't have to do it by hand. It works with hot water only in 30 minutes, pieces immersed and you do nothing. The idea is that temperature replaces brushing. Thermal energy for manual energy. But dude, these guys prefer to get all dirty and scrub for three hours using poisonous and expensive solvent. But a few early adopters have already caught on with my idea and are already consuming. As Seth says, they're laggards. And I'm impatient.

Liz had a phenomenon which would be highly unlikely to have 2 of them in one lifetime. I think that was Michael Jackson's downfall, chasing a phenomenon. Most people don't even get one.

This guy is a big hoaxter! He thinks that you can "overcome" your fear. It doesn't work that way. there are 3 things that can happen: 1, the situation changes thus eliminating the cause of the fear. 2. you suppress your fear possibly with drugs.(this only kicks the can down the road.) or, 3. You face the thing that you fear head on and beat it in "battle"!
