Set up pick-pluck foam hard-case with PLASTI-DIP to protect instruments - FLIR CM82

I bought a FLIR CM82 clamp-meter, but it did not come with any hard-case. I also have a SEW ALS3 AC line-splitter. To keep these instruments together, I temporarily stored them in a soft plastic bag (which is actually designed to store camping tent-pegs). So the bag offered no protection to the clamp-meter (which has a display screen).
So I bought the TACTIX TOUGH CASE-M (BUN-320084T) from BUNNINGS WAREHOUSE.
Join me in this video, as I set out the instruments in the foam, then pick-pluck the cavity needed. I then spray 3 layers of PLASTI-DIP rubber to the foam & let it dry. And the instruments fit very well in the new case, & are now very well protected.

If you have fragile instruments to protect - and keep together - a hard-case with PLASTI-DIP applied to the pick-pluck foam could be a solution for you.

Does the plasti dip rub off on the items as you take them out and place them back?
