☝🏽 same 😬 I use those cork “pot holders” from ikea meant to go under hot pots, plastic deli containers, and thrifted glass dishes like cookie trays and such.

I love your new office and reading nook, Fern! You have inspired me to decorate my bedroom. Yes!!! Or an extra wide one with a curve. Also having a monitor stand feels very pleasing and helps prevent tech neck, I use a nice acrylic one!

I love how some other channels don’t mind showing their kids in extremely embarrassing situations or talking about their very private lovelife and what not to millions of people and here is fern feeling bad to show a messy room😂

Love the office set up. Love the reading nook which looks super relaxing. And love the prop shelf too. I also recently moved all my props into one area and I am enjoying them so much more. I find that I check on them more often to see their growth with everything all in one spot. The only thing that might be cute to add is a small area rug. I don’t know how well it would work to maneuver the computer chair if it’s a thicker or fluffy rug but even a carpet with a smaller profile but cute pattern on it might work well :)

I feel like a dark and moody paint colour would look so good in this room, like a dark rich green. And then, having your wally grown of lemon lime contrasting with the dark walls would look so good. It would make the cozy vibes even more cozy. You could also find a cute planty stained glass hanging piece for the window, or to go with the spooky vibes that you like a cute ghost stained glass window hanging would look super cute too!!

Recommend sheep skin rug for the office I got a large one for the middle of my bedroom floor and a throw rug size for each side of our bed. My husband thought I lost my mind!And now my manly husband loves rolling out of bed and having his feet hit the fur every morning!

If you turn your desk so that you are situated in the corner, opposite from the door so that you are facing the door, that would put you in a position of power in the room. Love the new office! More wall art and a rug would definitely add to the cozy vibes! I think one or two warm toned non plant lights could also add a lot to the space - like maybe an upgraded overhead light or a small lamp on your desk near the prop shelf and one on the side table in the reading nook. I feel like a tall draceana could look great where the credenza is!

I loved this video so much. What a cozy office space with your plants to accompany you of course while you’re working. May I suggest putting the container propagations in the bottom shelf and the water propagations to the middle shelf. Everything else looks perfect 😍 ❤
