My machine stopped sewing, the motor refuse to move how do I handle it

Does somebody knows if we can use METAL BOBINE to be installed inside the machine. This is a important information lacking in most of sewing machines descriptions.

Hi You can use metal 15k style bobbins in this machine, though plastic a recommended. Hope this helps!

when I thread it it doesn’t have the tension between the two discs. What can I do about this?

Hi , the tension does not get applied until the presser foot is in the down postion, Also check the tension dial is at about no 4

My machine won’t go into any other stitch except A. The dial will switch around and I want C (zigzag). Once selected and I try again it is still straight stitch.

Oh sounds like something mat be jammed. You could try running the machine without a needle or presser foot on. As it’s running keep changing the dial to all positions to see if the needle bar starts swinging. ( for about 5 mins)If it does not, you may need to take it to your local service centre.

When I start a stitch, the feed dogs don't pull the fabric, I have to hold the two threads and pull them in order to make the fabric move, and even then, I have to use an awl to push the fabric. I have searched high and low and there are no fixes for it. Makes me not want to sew.

A strange one! Is ther any damage on the bottom of the presser foot which may be stopping the fabric moving?

@@colessewingcentrenotts no, there is no damage, it just doesn't advance the fabric unless I coax it. really frustrating

@@TinaBLike you have the main stitch selector on straight stitch (not say buttonhole)

Any idea why the needle threader would stop working, the machine works fine but the needle threader doesn’t work anymore. Same machine. Thanks in advance 😊

Hi. Check the stitch is set to straight stitch and the stitch length is on 2-3 length.

Has the hook got bent? You can buy a whole new unit

I’ve found it so difficult for service & parts where I live, the timing went out shortly after too & I couldn’t use the machine at all. Eventually my husband managed to fix the machine. I then bought a manual threader from a haberdashery shop, I’m happy with that now. The hook is so fine, it could easily happen again so I’ll stick with it & eventually look for a new machine. It seems this one wasn’t built very well in the first place as it’s worked better than it ever did since my husband has worked on it. Thank you for your help though

Hi Patti. There is a cover plate that goes over the feed dogs for free motion work in the accessories.

He lost me when he got to threading the needle, l couldn't see what he was doing and he went too fast🤯 No help to me...
