Set Up a Stormwater Model with ICPR Version 4

In this video, you will learn how to use a program called Interconnected Channel and Pond Routing (ICPR version 4) to determine an existing ditch's staging (ponding). This program was developed by Streamline Technologies and is used to model drainage systems.
On top of that, you will also learn how to:
- Import an AutoCAD Civil 3D surface into ICPR
- Create and run storm event simulations (25YR-24HR)
- Import map layers from AutoCAD .dwg file (.dwg to .dxf)
- Create cross-sections and channel links
- Run ICPR and review results

Thank you! It’s definitely my favorite (above SWMM, HECRAS). I’m excited to see the new features!

Are there any other civil engineering channels out there mostly in the water industry that I can learn from too, that you recommend. I am recent graduate.

Thoroughly enjoyed your video, great job! I am a PE in NW Florida that specializes in land development. Over the last few years I’ve gotten pretty ambitious to fully master all that ICPR has to offer. Have you done much with the mesh analysis?

Thanks Richard! Not sure if you’ve heard but ICPR is making a name change to “Stormwise” and the company will be rolling out new versions of the program. Apparently there will be a SWMM import option (which is awesome). I haven’t done mesh analysis yet because we haven’t needed to do it yet, but I may experiment with it for homework!
