If you watch a channel called evil gt , they had the same problem with there gtr, wheels came of they had to clean the surface between the wheel and the rotor and remove the rotor too amd clean the surface there too

Pretty normal for oil to turn black between changes. That plus brake pad change. Also normal. I didn’t see rotor change or even resurfacing. Maybe highly abused, but not really established in this video.

Blowing out brake dust without a mask? Yikes.

That shit happens to me all the time with the dealership not being able to duplicate. My camera’s all went out on my sierra 1500 and after 2 attempts of getting the dealership to fix it and not them able to duplicate, the 3rd time it happened, stopped what i was doing drove to the dealership, drove through the service drop off and left the truck running. They kept telling me to turn it off and stop idling indoors. Told them to go get a tech to look at the truck first. Got a new camera projection installed a few days later.

Great work bro, your videos are enjoyable to watch, the metal plates fitted on the pad backs you were talking about earlier in the vid are called anti squeal shims over here in the UK.

My GT-R made the same rubbing noise after a session of hard braking. Took off the pads and clean the rotors and pads. Noise went away.

Obviously that scenario of the problem disappearing has happened to most people. One time I thought it was going to happen and didn't: I had a car that would shut off after it had been running a few minutes. So I took it in, they couldn't find the issue. I said 'Well you need to,let it run a few minutes'. He said 'Oh yeah yeah they let it run like 20 minutes and nothing' Which was odd, because I had only been at the dealership for 30 minutes. Drove away and 2 minutes away, car dies. I was right down the road so the service manager drives down and diagnoses it with 'anti-theft' engagement. Which made no sense. So they take it back and of course anti-theft wasn't covered under warranty. So I demanded to view the inspection. They hemmed and hawed, then I said I wanted to see the codes pulled. Suddenly it became the transmission temp sensor was bad or faulty and when the car came up to temp, it read as being too hot and shut the car down. I still don't think that was the issue, but it was covered for free and didn't happen again.

GTR is the most reliable abuse able Supercar out there. Turbo S or Huracan don't take that much abuse in our experience.

Man… who would abuse such a beautiful car ha ha. I LOVE the GT-R. For sure one of my dream cars. And fairly certain you dated yourself by “fugly”.
